Apparently the “Twist” Of The Last Airbender Is That It SucksGabe Delahaye has done a good round-up of all the bad reviews for the new film, but our favorite is from The Chicago Reader’s Cliff Doerksen, “The current national priorities should be as follows: reduce carbon emissions and stop funding the films of M. Night Shyamalan.” (via Videogum)

Hilary Duff Makes the Billboard's Decade End Charts List!

]]>
Billboard’s Decade End Charts lists gave the lovely Hilary Duff naughty number #69 in their Top 200 Artists of the past decade. Her album Metamorphosis was ranked as #80 of the Top-Selling 200 Albums of the past decade across all genres. The soundtrack of The Lizzie McGuire Movie came in at #11 of the Top 25 Movie Soundtracks of the past decade.

Seems like a fantastic career for the young actress/singer who has not been seen out and about as much as I would like, but that can only mean she’s remaining hard at work on her many projects. We can’t wait to see what you have in store for us Hilary–keep riding the waves of success!

World Premiere of Hilary's 'Provinces of Night' at Santa Barbara International Film Festival

]]>
Hilary’s film, Provinces of Night, will be kicking off its wold premiere at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival on Saturday, February 6 at 7:15 PM at Metro 4 Theatre II. The film will also be showing on Sunday, February 7 at 8 PM in the same theater. A source close to the festival tells me it’s likely that Hilary will be making an appearance, so if you’re close to Santa Barbara start running!

This is the 25th annual run for the film festival, which boasts a great array of independent features. Provinces of Night is directed by Shane Dax Taylor and marks the director’s second feature film. In the film, Hilary stars as Raven Lee Halfacr, a beautiful Southern belle who wants to escape the destructive life of her drug-dependent and wanton mother. The story surrounds the shattered lives of the Bloodworth family. E.F. Bloodworth returns home after being gone for forty years. His three sons cannot escape the family ‘curse’ but Fleming, E.F.’s grandson, tries to rise above it all and falls into the arms of Raven, seeking courage and strength.

Find out more information about the film festival on their official website. Hilary fans won’t want to miss this premiere! If you’re lucky enough to attend, leave us a comment on the website and we’ll post your pictures and comments to share with our readers!

In the meantime, check out this fan videos featuring images of Hilary on the set of the movie.

Hilary Duff's 'Cheaper by the Dozen 2' Now on Blu-ray!

]]>
Hilary Duff is feeling blue–but it’s a good thing! Cheaper by the Dozen 2 is now available on Blu-ray!

The sequel to the 2003 hit move stars Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt reprise their roles of Tom and Kate Baker, who oversee a brood of 12 children. The kids are getting older, however, and ready to leave the nest. Lorraine (Hilary Duff) is headed for New York and pregnant daughter Nora (Piper Perabo) and her husband are moving to Houston. Tom wants to get the family together for one more summer vacation before they go so the troupe heads to Lake Winnekta for some R & R.

The family cabin is a bit lackluster but Tom wants to make the best of things. That is until his old rival, Jimmy Murtaugh (Eugene Levy) and his wife, Sabrina (Carmen Electra), along with their eight kids, show up. They’re staying in the fancy pants cabin across the lake. Hilarity ensues as the families try to enjoy themselves but deal with both dads and their competitive streak.

You can order Cheaper by the Dozen 2 on Blu-ray right over here. Let me know what you think! Check out the original trailer below.
