Did Courtney Love marry a zombie? No. Well, maybe at some other point, but this is a still from a music video shoot. It sort of terrifies us, but maybe that’s because we hate having to see feet, in general. More »
The video for “electro hop” group Far East Movement‘s “So What” features hundred dollar bills, models, and a vat filled with what appears to be Pepto Bismol. The Pepto ends up slathered on one of the model’s bikini-covered breasts in the most bizarre play at fetish appeal we’ve seen in a while. “Mmm, baby, lemme lick that off you, my heartburn is killing me. It might be a little too early in the day for this video, but we’re posting it anyway. In her music video for “Rabiosa” (which is Spanish for “rabid”), Shakira debuts a brunette look and hits the stripper pole. Also involved are a hot male model and some plastic balls. Enjoy. More »
Shia LaBeouf put on his director’s hat (it’s a fedora) to make a video for Kid Cudi’s song “Marijuana.” It’s a pretty student filmy effort — Shia follows Kid Cudi around Amsterdam with a super 8 camera (or is that a post-production filter?), where the artist mostly just hangs out and smokes weed. Good song, though. More »
Kreayshawn is a rapper and a cinematographer, she is not down with basic ass bitches. Her new video “Gucci Gucci” is the latest so-bad-it’s-good (but also, this is kind of legit good) sensation to sweep the web. Anyone got any meme suggestions for this enthusiastic young lady? More »
Taylor Swift‘s video, for her latest twangy tune “Mean,” plays like the promo reel for a season of Glee: fashion-obsessed gay kid’s bullied by the jocks, smart girl has to save her pennies for college, some mean jerk told Taylor she can’t sing. For all of them, it totally gets better. So who’s this one about, John Mayer or Simon Cowell? More »
The video for Rihanna‘s countryish “”California King Bed” came out today, and it seems to be mostly about highlighting the singer’s red hair. We’re a bit of a Michael Bolton vibe from the flowy curtains and beach set here — although Rihanna’s model dude’s hot, so that helps. More »
Lady Gaga‘s in love with Judas! And Jesus is jealous! They’re both hot, though, so we’re happy. And what of the other apostles? More »
We don’t want to ruin the concept for you, but suffice it to say that (our favorite band) Superchunk’s video for “Crossed Wires” is a work of genius. It tells a hilarious, compact story that works on all levels — plus it involves cats. Music industry: more of these things, please. More »
It’s kinda like a Ke$ha video, but with more deadness behind the eyes. Look Ma, no pants! More »
The very brilliant TV on the Radio have a knack for creating moody and gorgeous music videos that perfectly compliment their songs. “Will Do” is no exception, offering a simple yet futuristic look at love. We’re a little heartbroken now.

The good and bad thing about internet infamy is that it’s fleeting – one week you’re the laughingstock of the web, the next week they’ve moved on to someone else. “Friday” singer Rebecca Black has been this week’s whipping girl, but we already have a candidate for her replacement: Jenna Rose. The 12-year-old’s first single, “My Jeans,” attempts to make her the new Willow Smith, but we’re not buying it. The song lacks a good beat or production values, and Jenna has zero star quality. For their 15th studio album, Collapse Into Now, R.E.M. have commissioned a music video for each of the record’s 12 tracks. Filmmaker Jem Cohen took on the song “Oh My Heart” with this simple and ethereal offering. Pretty images for a pretty song — perfect for our rainy afternoon. More »
Ever since Lady Gaga debuted her newest song, “Born This Way,” there have been no shortage of impersonators and admirers paying homage to the kooky star. Take a look at my favorite renditions of “Born This Way.” And tell me: which do you think is the best? Or do you have a better one? More »
Bikini-clad creatures writhing around in goo? Cheek implants? Simulated sex with a skeleton? It’s either an episode of Celebrity Rehab or the new Lady Gaga video. Gaga’s offering for “Born This Way” is totally over-the-top per usual, and after only a single viewing we’re ready to call it a true classic. More »
George Clooney‘s Italian girlfriend, Elisabetta Canalis, gave an awesome live rendition of Ciara‘s “Like A Boy” on Italian TV Saturday Night. Her performance culminated the 61st Italian music festival in San Remo. If you had no idea she was a dancer, you’re not alone: most know her only as a model and actress, but she got her start as a dancer. Who knew? Check out the performance here: More »
“Don’t Look Back” is a retro-futuristic (is that a thing?) new video from Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward‘s indie outfit She & Him. The song is cute enough, but the video is adorbs-overload. Seriously, this thing features four different Zooey Ds in four different stages of preciousness — which is either your idea or heaven or your idea of hell. There is no in-between. More »
The heartbreaking pop sogn allegedly all about Taylor Lautner now has a video. Taylor Swift’s “Back to December” tells the story of two lovelorn teens on a wintry day. The video’s worth watching for the dude who plays the scorned love interest alone (hi!), even though he doesn’t exactly resemble Lautner. More »
We’re big fans of Adele, the 22-year-old singer/songwriter from London. She’s got a new album coming out soon, 21 (her first record was titled 19, cuuute) and it’s first single, “Rolling in the Deep” is getting a lot of play around these parts. The song is rhythmic and smoky and this video compliments it perfectly. More »
