Abigail Breslin practically glows on the red carpet of My Sister’s Keeper premiere last night in New York!

Abigail posed on the carpet with co-stars Sofia Vassilieva, Cameron Diaz and Jason Patric at the AMC Lincoln Square Theatre.

When it comes to taking on new roles, Abigail chats about her process of reading scripts. “I just do the movies and characters and stories I like. My mother still reads the scripts first, then I read them and we talk about them, and if I get asked, we do them.”

ET takes us behind the scenes of Abigail Breslin’s new movie, My Sister’s Keeper!

Cameron Diaz, Alec Baldwin, and Abigail Breslin talk about the film, which hits theaters on June 26th.

In My Sister’s Keeper, Sara Fitzgerald (Cameron) is devastated when her precious toddler daughter Kate (Sofia Vassilieva) comes down with a rare form of leukemia. In desperation, she and her husband Brian (Jason Patric) conceive another child, a daughter named Anna (Abigail), who is a perfect genetic match and will be able to save her sister’s life. The family, which also includes their eldest child, a boy named Jesse (Evan Ellingson), has their world turned upside down with Anna decides, at age 11, to seek emancipation to avoid being forced to give her sister a kidney. Alec plays a lawyer hired by Anna.

Abigial Breslin Films with a Bald Cameron Diaz

Abigail Breslin was spotted on the set of My Sister’s Keeper with a “bald” Sofia Vassilieva and Cameron Diaz.

In the movie Abigail plays Anna, a 13-year-old girl who was conceived as a genetic match for her cancer-ridden sister (Sofia). Abigail’s character is seeking emancipation from her parents. Cameron plays their mother and in this scene she goes bald in support of her daughter’s illness.
