Video: Jimmy Fallon's 'Real Housewives of Late Night' is Best

Real Housewives mockeries and impersonations are almost, if not more, funny than the actual episodes. There is one caveat, though: the impersonator must know the show inside and out, to capture the true essences of its hilarity. Fortunately, Jimmy Fallon has been outed as a Real Housewives fanatic and recently appeared on Watch What Happens: Live with Andy Cohen. His in-depth fan knowledge of the series translates into pure comedy genius in his skit “Real Housewives of Late Night,” which is back for it’s second season. More »

There can never be enough Ron Swanson. As evidenced by our new favorite Tumblr, which just shows photos of cats who look like Nick Offerman‘s character Ron from NBC’s Parks and Recreation. (FUCKYEAHcatsthatlooklikeRonSwanson)

Your New (Weird) Crush: Nick Offerman With Cornrows

Your New (Weird) Crush: Nick Offerman With Cornrows

For those of you unaware of this fact, let me bring you up to date. My love of Nick Offerman knows no bounds. And last night on Parks And Recreation, we got to see our beloved Ron Swanson behind bars. With cornrows. Did someone at NBC think that this would be funny, and turn away the hoards of young women lusting after NBC’s best libertarian? Ha. Haha… HA! I scoff in the general direction of that proposition.

Nick Offerman looks even hotter in jail, scoffing at us with his perfectly manicured braids juxtaposing that dastardly mustache. Rawr. If that producers at NBC want to play a game of chicken with Nick Offerman role play this season, we have only one thing to say: Bring. It. On. More »

Entertainment Weekly Turns Parks And Recreation Into A Road Trip Comedy

Entertainment Weekly Turns Parks And Recreation Into A Road Trip Comedy

The new issue of Entertainment Weekly is celebrating the magazine’s love for NBC’s Parks and Recreation. In fact, they love the fictional town of Pawnee so much that they gave the cast two separate covers.

They seem to have gotten rid of Adam Scott and turned the show into a road trip comedy. But no matter! Everyone seems really excited to be on there. Including Aubrey Plaza. Which reminds us that we’ve never seen her smile before. More »

Video: Bill Hader Laughing Through An SNL Blooper Reel As Stefon

Bill Hader doing Stefon is one of our favorite things about Saturday Night Live right now. And while it’s usually a bad thing when SNL castmembers laugh during the show, watching Bill Hader crack himself up at the Weekend Update desk only makes it all better.

And thanks to Splitsider, we just found a new video of outtakes from SNL rehearsals that ends with some great footage of our favorite giggling gay club promoter. Enjoy! More »

Video: Rob Lowe Reminds Us How Excited We Are For Parks And Rec's Return

Wow. NBC’s Parks And Recreation has been off the air for so long, we’re starting to forget what it’s like. Luckily, Rob Lowe has decided to rant for a few minutes in this video to remind us. The show is back this Thursday, and despite the fact that our favorite characters get about five seconds on air in this promo vid, we retain our excitement for the show.

Also, I just learned that Adam Scott kinda punches like a girl. But maybe that’s why we love him. More »

Adam Scott Wants YOU. On His T-Shirt. We’re not sure why Parks And Recreation/Piranha 3D/Party Down actor Adam Scott is auctioning off a trip with him to the grocery store of your choice. But with the bidding at $800 right now, it’s pretty much a steal. (Ebay)

Losers don’t work with scabs. Crew members from The Biggest Loser have gone on strike, and NBC has hired non-union workers to replace them. But trainer Jillian Michaels won’t be crossing the picket line. (The Gloss)

Crush This: More Hamm And Buble Please, Lorne Michaels!

Crush This: More Hamm And Buble Please, Lorne Michaels!

Crush This is your weekly guide to what’s coming up in music, movies and TV in the next week. CMJ is over and New York will certainly miss the buzz of a million concerts going on, but there is a lot to look forward to in the following week…espeically on television.

For those of you who are still grieving the loss of Mad Men, there is a faint light at the end of the tunnel. Jon Hamm is hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend with Rihanna as musical guest! I mean, it won’t be just like watching Don Draper, but sometimes in hardships one must make sacrifices. But that is not all SNL has to offer this upcoming week… More »

Video: David Crowder Band's Lite-Brite Vid for 'SMS (Shine)'

Last night on Community, Shirley and Abed spent most of the episode trying to make a Christian video go viral on YouTube. Which is exactly what contemporary Christian group The David Crowder Band has done today. Their secret? Stop motion Lite-Brite.

Today the band released a video for their song “(SMS)Shine” using 700,000 Lite-Brite pegs. As we are suckers for most toys from our childhood (especially Lite-Brite), we are forwarding it to you, for your viewing enjoyment.

Against ‘The Dilemma’ Trailer And Comedy’s Gay-Joke Default Button

Against âThe Dilemmaâ Trailer And Comedyâs Gay-Joke Default Button

The new Vince Vaughn/Kevin James move The Dilemma is causing controversy already — and it won’t even hit theaters for months. A hotly debated line has just been cut from the trailer (though it will remain in the film itself). The teaser opens on Vince addressing room full suits as he declares: “Ladies and gentlemen, electric cars are gay. Not homosexual gay, but ‘my-parents-are-chaperoning-the-dance gay.’”

So what’s the joke there? That electric cars are wimpy? That it’s lame for parents to be overprotective? No, the joke is that “gay” is funny. More »

Nick Offerman: My Weird Celebrity Crush

Nick Offerman: My Weird Celebrity Crush

This feature is supposed to highlight a strange celebrity crush, but my devotion to Nick Offerman – Ron Swanson on NBC’s Parks and Recreation – is so deep that I’m no longer clear if it is weird to have a crush on him. I’d have trouble understanding why anyone wouldn’t be into him. For starters, he is adorable. Also, he has wonderful comedic timing (a surefire way to my heart). And I’m pretty convinced that he has the ability to grow a mustache in mere minutes. More »

Poll Results: Half Of You Would Date A Coworker

The results are in for our coworker/classmate dating poll, and it look like most Crushable readers would indeed date or consider dating an officemate. 51% of you would definitely get involved in a workplace romance, while another 35% admitted it can be fun to flirt with the person in the cubicle next door. Outsourced: Thoughts, Anyone? – We were wondering if the NBC show could possibly been as bad as it looks. Apparently it was worse. (via Stereogum)

Poll: Would You Ever Date a Coworker Or a Close Classmate?

Poll: Would You Ever Date a Coworker Or a Close Classmate?

Last night was the season premiere of two of our favorite NBC sitcoms: Community and The Office. And both held similar themes in their opening episodes (although, it could be argued, these themes run across all of their episodes…and all the episodes of most sitcoms): Becoming romantically involved with someone you spend a lot of time with. Whether you shared an illicit kiss with your community college’s version of Jeff Winger or started dating a cutely muted boss like Gabe at Sabre, there is hardly a girl in the world who hasn’t stirred her finger into this melting pot of bad ideas. “Becoming Ron Swanson” - The best boss ever (yes, better than Michael Scott), Ron Swanson on NBC’s Parks and Recreations is played by Nick Offerman. Today, we got a sneak-peak at how the transformation from actor to character is made.   (via Splitsider)

Poll: Who Has a Bigger Mouth, Jason Ritter or Chord Overstreet on ‘Glee’?

Poll: Who Has a Bigger Mouth, Jason Ritter or Chord Overstreet on 'Glee'?

When Puck asked one of the new transfer students last night on Glee how many tennis balls he could fit in his mouth, the guy responded with a variation of the old Clueless joke “I’ve never tried to fit balls in my mouth. Have you?” But the thing is, between Finn’s new rival (Chord Overstreet, whose previous roles involve an episode of iCarly) and Jason Ritter on NBC’s The Event, you can’t deny that we’re having a prime-time showdown of the bass-mouth boys. Who do you think could fit more balls in their mouth? More »

What to DVR: Your Crushable Fall TV Lineup

What to DVR: Your Crushable Fall TV Lineup

You ever heard of TiVo guilt? It’s a specific anxiety that comes from building up a whole base of TV shows on your DVR that you never get around to watching, and then spending days deliberating whether to just erase the whole thing and start fresh, or spend an entire weekend hunkered down with some BBC documentaries that looked “really interesting” two weeks ago. Luckily, Megan Collins is here to tell you what you should — and should not — be prepping to watch this Fall. More »
