Lindsay Lohan was back in court yesterday with a grand theft felony charge hanging over her head for that whole “stealing an expensive necklace” thing. And how did being back in front of a judge so soon after leaving her court-ordered rehab stint make Lindsay feel? All sorts of things! In fact, Lindsay looked like she experienced pretty much every emotion under the sun — except, perhaps, remorse.

Oh Lindsay Lohan. Your recently sober ass had to go steal a necklace, didn’t it? Now you’re making it look bad for the also recently rehabitalized Demi Lovato, who will obviously be forced to go on a crime spree to match yours. Or at least, that’s what our Bad NewzBearz are speculating this week.

Why are they still at Sundance? Who knows.

Hey remember when Lindsay Lohan had all that jewelry stolen from her in the Bling Ring case? To make up for it, she may have straight-up walked out of a store with a $2,500 necklace. Like, the cameras have her on tape, trying on the necklace right before it goes missing. Though since there is no footage of her leaving the store, proving it will be harder than getting back your 2g iPhone from some coke-heads at a bar on Avenue A.

But mainly: stop stealing stuff Lindsay! Is that just the one vice you haven’t tried yet? Is it because Winona Ryder kind of got more popular after the Free Winona t-shirts were made? That already didn’t work for you!

This worse than the time her mom abused her free Carvel ice-cream card! Or stole that fur coat? Or that time she borrowed that dress and never gave it back?

Halloween may still be a couple weeks away, but that’s no reason to forgo the holiday spirit completely. And while we can’t walk around every day dressed like a slutty Snooki from the Jersey Shore (it’s kind of like regular Snooki, except you have to make out with whatever juicehead is closest to you), we can show our spooky pride by subtly pulling off some of these gross, weird, and downright scary accessories. A merino wool necklace… or something else? Etsy designer Stitching Red definitely went the feminine route. At $125 a pop, these necklaces are just a little too hygiene producty for us.

See this gorgeous assymetrical amethyst necklace? It was crafted by the ever-Crushable Kim Rittberg, who balances designing her namesake jewelry collection with her day job as a TV producer who recently traveled through the sometimes-seedy landscapes of Peru in search of Joran Van der Sloot. Terrifying, right? Kim loves traveling to far-flung locales, and during a bout of post-college globetrotting, she was inspired to build on her longtime jewelry-making hobby. The result: k ritt jewelry, a collection of statement pieces that ensure “you’re never just a faced in the crowd.” The necklace above, which retails at $190, has been sold at Henri Bendel in New York City, and various arty boutiques.

“I try to make things that I think no one else has seen,” says Kim, who seeks inspiration from museums, describes her style as “artistic and funky.”
