Nicole Richie at Zac Posen Fashion Show

Nicole Richie enjoyed another front-row view at New York Fashion Week when she took in Zac Posen’s Fall/Winter 2009 collection last night. Nicole looked stunning in a flirty white sheath, black tights, complemented by an oversized purple clutch.

Zac’s show has received lukewarm responses. The New York Times called the collection “a bag of Grandma’s clothes.”

Regardless, it looks like Nicole enjoyed herself. And why wouldn’t she? She sat front row with Alicia Keys and upcoming superstar, DJ Leigh Lezark. I’m sure though, by the end of the night, Nicole was ready to head back to her hotel to spend time with her favorite fashionista – daughter, Harlow!

Nicole Richie & Harlow Enjoy NYC

Nicole Richie and adorable one-year-old daughter Harlow enjoyed some mommy-and-me time yesterday afternoon. The chilly weather didn’t stop the pair from checking out Chelsea Pier. Harlow looked adorable in her wool hat and polka-dotted jacket.

Harlow has gotten so big recently, it looks like Nicole is having a tough time carrying her. I’m really excited for when she’s running around and talking – it’ll be too cute!

Nicole looked like the coolest mom in town in aviator shades, a cropped jacket and torn jeans. I hope Harlow is enjoying her first fashion week. I bet she’s going to be quite the fashionista when she gets older.

Nicole Richie Front Row at Proenza Schouler Fashion Show

Nicole Richie sat front row center with pal Mary-Kate Olsen at the Proenza Schouler Fall/Winter 2009 Fashion Show yesterday during New York Fashion Week. Despite the dreary weather, the twosome kept it cheery with bright fashion choices – Nicole in a striking red coat and Mary-Kate in a stunning blue sheath.

Both girls looked great. They greeted each other warmly at the show before sitting down together. They must have a lot to catch up on, as Nicole spends most of her time in LA, and Mary-Kate spending her time in NYC lately. Both girls have been huge fans and supporters of Proenza Schouler, so it’s nice to see them come out for the show.

I’m wondering when we’ll spot Nicole in more of MK’s clothing. She wore an Elizabeth & James dress months ago, will we see her sport the twin’s designs again this season?

Nicole Richie Apartment Hunts in New York

Before Nicole Richie and Joel Madden had Harlow, they were seriously looking for an apartment in NYC to call their own. It looks as though now that life has settled down a bit, and Harlow is now one year old, their search has picked up again.

Nicole and Harlow checked out places in Soho with an agent yesterday, on a rainy afternoon. Nicole kept cheery wit a bright red hat. And when your companion is as cute as Harlow, how can your day be gloomy?

The twosome also made their requisite Starbucks trip, and Harlow, as always, emerged with a cup of her own.

I wonder what sort of place Nicole and Joel are looking for. I think getting their own place in NYC is smart – they are both here a lot for work and different reasons. Plus, it would be nice for them to be able to be a bit closer to Joel’s family, even if it’s only part of the year.

Nicole Richie at Diesel Black Gold Fashion Show

Nicole Richie is in New York for Fashion Week. Today, February 17, she sat in the front row for the Diesel Black Gold F/W fashion show in Bryant Park. Celebrity turnouts have been in lower numbers at fashion week this year, thanks to designers cutting back on budgets for fashion shows.

Nicole watched the show with other celebs like Kate Bosworth and Roisin Murphy. Nicole was sitting next to the editor of French Vogue. Carine Roitfeld. It’s rumored that Roitfeld will be taking over American Vogue once Anna Wintour retires.

The Diesel Black Gold show was a great success. Nicole looked stunning in her leather jacket, graphic print dress and soft hairstyle!

Joel Madden on TRL Finale

Joel Madden and brother Benji were two of the celebrities who stopped by for the last-ever episode of MTV’s “Total Request Live.” TRL has been on the air for over ten years. It became an MTV staple and it’s sad to see it go.
