Unfortunately, The Very Best, a collaboration between Malawi’s Esau Mwamwaya and Radioclit, and also one of my favorite performers at Pitchfork Music Festival this summer, has had to cancel their CMJ appearances due to “travel circumstances.” They were scheduled to play at their label’s (Green Owl) showcase tonight (Wednesday) at (le) Poisson Rouge.
