In the episode, entitled ‘Animal Rites’, the FBI investigates after animal rights extremists sabotage a CalSci animal testing lab and kill one researcher. John plays the head of an animal rights activism organization, but one that he claims that does not condone violence. He tries to say that the extremists are probably an underground radical group, perhaps an amateur one. Convinced that these extremists are hurting his cause, he leads them towards a cafe where some radicals hang out.

The episode, entitled ‘Frenemies‘, had the FBI and LAPD working to apprehend a vigilante group known as the Vanguard. The team discovers that the Vanguard are all gifted grad students who decided to take the law into their own hands and attempt to take down crime boss Vic Tooner, which is, as you’d guess, something high above their heads and quite dangerous. One of them dies. The team must work to find out who the Vanguard are before it’s too late.

Adam Wylie appeared in the episode as Oliver Mayo, one of the students in the Vanguard. He was captured by the FBI about a minute into the segment below:
