Video: Watch A Pretty Good Pretty Reckless Cover Of ‘Wonderwall’
Oasis’ “Wonderwall” is one of our favorite songs, just as it’s one of many people’s favorite songs. And there’s nothing worse than hearing an uninspired cover of a beloved piece of music, but Taylor Momsen actually does a pretty good job with her version sung at a concert in France. It’s a little rough around the edges but Taylor’s voice is, as usual, quite nice and well-trained. And, um, you can kind of hear that she means it when she’s looking for someone to save her.

What do the Holy Father and Philippine prisoners have in common? A mutual love of “Thriller”! The Vatican’s official newspaper L’Osservatore Romano has released Pope Benedict XVI’s list of top songs he’d like to have with him on the desert island. And it doesn’t contain songs you’d necessarily expect. The list includes:

Mischa Barton shares her list of favorite bands
On Mischa Barton’s new website, Mischa shares a list of her “Ultimate Favorite Top 10 Bands” — some I recognize and some I had to look up — ranging from Def Leppard’s old stuff, Fleetwood Mac and The Redwalls.
Mischa says that music plays a huge role in her life (most of us probably feel that way) and she loves going to concerts, checking out a new band or seeing a favorite.
