The line, Elizabeth and James for Steve Madden, is expected to hit stores in a few short months. And not just any stores, either. It’s the first Steve Madden line to be featured at the likes of Bergdorf Goodmans, Neiman Marcus, Intermix and more.

The brand is a bit of a higher price point than other Steve Madden lines, but it is on par with the Elizabeth and James clothing lines.

Nylon interviews both Mary-Kate and Steve about the collaboration and each only had fantastic things to say about each other, the creative process and the line itself. The previews for the line have been really exciting and I can’t wait until they hit stores.

I would love so much to go to this event and see what the Row has in store. MK and Ashley have kept this line very quiet and exclusive. I understand it’s a different clientele than their Elizabeth & James line, but it would still be great to see the girls’ creativity!

The line draws inspiration from what the top menswear designers are doing today and from the best-dressed men in history. The line is chic, classic and focuses on tailoring, which puts it in sync with the original womenswear collection from The Row. Elle UK expects fashion forward men and boys everywhere to be clamoring for a bit of this line.

The Examiner applauded MK and Ashley’s sleek and sophisticated look that’s becoming the Row’s signature and the youthful, hip vibe from Elizabeth & James.

Rounding out the top five were Kate Moss for TopShop (#4) and Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony (#1).

Kudos to MK and Ashley for making such a splash in the fashion world this year. I’m confident the girls have a long and successful future ahead of them in fashion.

I really, really want Full House: The Complete Series. With all nine seasons of the hit ABC show, you could relive the entire series that made Mary-Kate and Ashley a household name! I love how the box looks like the Tanner residence.

It’s currently available on Amazon for $100 and can be found in stores for approximately $169. That isn’t bad for a show that ran as long as Full House did!

A great complement to the DVD set would be Mary-Kate and Ashley’s new book Influence. This way, you can look at how the girls and their careers evolved from cute, funny singing and dancing girls to trend-setting moguls and fashion designers to reckon with. This book is gorgeous and reveals as much about the fashion world as it does about the girls themselves.

This week, MK wore a red leopard print Louis Vuitton scarf to a screening of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

Last year, Ashley wore the same scarf to a party celebrating Christian Louboutin.

Both the girls took very different takes on the look. Both are casual, but MK went for an all-black ensemble, making the scarf the center of the look. Ashley opted for more color and paired the scarf with the attention-grabbing Christian Louboutin boots. I think both outfits are pretty great. What about you?

This is the only place I’ve seen this story and I haven’t verified it, but if it’s true, I think it’s kind of funny. As much as I’m against wearing fur, it bothers me that PETA so constantly and so publicly targets celebrities, simply for the press. It’s annoying and the frequency of it undermines the purpose of it.
