Mary-Kate Olsen is “Really Sweet”

TV Guide sat down with Samantha Who? star Melissa McCarthy to talk about the upcoming season of their show. (The second season premiere is tonight!)

You may remember Melissa as Sookie on the Gilmore Girls. She was wonderful on that show. I’ve only caught a few episodes of Samantha Who?, but it looks like a lot of fun.

Melissa promises that this season will be tons of fun and there’s lots of exciting guests stars showing up--including Mary-Kate Olsen!

Melissa says that MK is “really sweet” and promises that “she did a good job with the part.” MK plays a reformed bad girl Natalie that comes into Samantha’s life and stirs things up!

MK’s episode of Samantha Who? airs on November 10 on ABC. It’s a ways away yet, but I’m going to liveblog the episode here. Be sure to join me!

First Look: Mary-Kate Olsen on Samantha Who?

Mary-Kate Olsen is making a guest appearance on fifth episode the of Samantha Who?. In the episode, titled “Help,” Samantha gets arrested and is given community service. It is through this community service that Sam meets Mary-Kate’s character and she becomes quite a sore spot as Samantha looks back on her old life.

Mary-Kate will play Natalie, a “troubled young woman.” Natalie reminds Samantha of her younger self and Sam is determined to turn Natalie’s life around, even though everyone tells her it can’t be done.

The episode will air on November 10 on ABC at 9:30pm EST.

There’s already been rumors about MK getting her own spin-off. I think it’s way too early to tell, but it sounds like MK’s character is going to be a lot of fun to watch–and a lot of trouble for Samantha!

Mary-Kate Olsen in Samantha Who? Trailer

Romina uncovered this trailer for the season premiere of Samantha Who? I’m 99% sure that it’s Mary-Kate Olsen getting slapped by Samantha at 0:02 and the one behind Samantha at 0:04 when she smashes the car. It’s a bit hard to tell, but I’m pretty confident!

If this is so, it’s interesting they aren’t highlighting the guest appearance by Mk, the way Weeds did. Why do you think that is?

Mary-Kate Olsen on David Letterman Tomorrow

Mary-Kate Olsen will be a guest on The Late Show With David Letterman tomorrow. She’ll talk about The Wackness (which premieres tonight in NYC), her and Ashley’s upcoming book Influence and whatever else David throws her way.

MK was great when she appeared on Conan O’Brien a few months back to promote Weeds so im excited to see her on the late night circuit again! Be sure to tune in!

Mary-Kate Olsen to Guest Star on Samantha Who?

E! Online is reporting that Mary-Kate Olsen started filming a guest spot on the ABC sitcom Samantha Who? today.

Mary-Kate is slated to appear in only one episode, as a girl that Samantha tries to save. Mary-Kate’s character reminds the new Samantha of her pre-amnesia life and wants to prevent MK from taking the same destructive path she did.

According to E!, the higher-ups at Samantha Who? are very impressed with MK’s talent and professionaliam so far. The episode is scheduled to air in October, I can’t wait!
