Walk A Mile In Her Heels: Olsenboye’s “Uptown” Heels
The other day I put on heels for maybe the fifth or sixth time in my life, sacrificing my feet to a pair of Olsenboye studded pumps from JCPenney. And I got dumber immediately! Meaning I spent ten minutes trying to figure out how to take a photo of my outfit that captured my shoes but didn’t get the edge of the table in frame. As you can see, I did not succeed.

Design for Olsenboye!
Mary-Kate and Ashley have launched a design contest for their new juniors line, Olsenboye! Aspiring fashion designers between 13 and 21 are encouraged to submit an original clothing design. Olsen fans have the chance to choose the winner when the semifinalists’ designs will be shown to the world.
The lucky winner will see their design included in a future Olsenboye collection, be flown to New York to meet Mary-Kate and Ashley and received a $1,000 shopping spree at JCPenney.

Olsenboye Spring 2010 Sneak Peek

There are a lot of different pieces from Olsenboye available at JCP.com. I wasn’t expecting this limited release to be so big! Clothes, shoes and accessories all went on sale earlier today in 50 stores across the country and online. Olsenboye will expand to 300 stores nationwide in February.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s new junior brand, Olsenboye, went on sale at JCP.com earlier today! The prices are already nearly half the original retail price! Shoes, clothing and accessories are all available for a limited time.
I like the collection but must say it feels very young. I get that it’s a juniors line geared towards girls 11-15, but girls today are much more fashion savvy. It will be interesting to see how well the collection does when it’s available… More »
Steve Madden to Design Olsenboye Shoes
Steve Madden, who Mary-Kate and Ashley partnered with to create shoes for Elizabeth and James, will partner one again with the design duo to bring us Olsenboye shoes and accessories.
“We believe that Olsenboye will be an excellent addition to our growing portfolio of footwear and accessories brands,” Edward Rosenfeld, chairman and chief executive officer of Madden, told WWD.

Olsenboye.com is live! The website dedicated to Mary-Kate and Ashley’s juniors line for JCPenney current;y features a teaser video for the collection. In the video below, three teen girls enjoy a day together, decked head-to-toe inn Olsenboye.
The line will include tops, bottoms, dresses, pants, skirts, handbags and shoes all ranging in price from $20-$50. The collection will hit 50 special stores and JCP.com on November 6th, an will epxand nationwide later.

WWD Learns More About Olsenboye
WWD got the low-down on Mary-Kate and Ashley’s upcoming juniors line for JCPenney. Olsenboye will hit stores in early February, but fans will be treated to a renegade marketing scheme beforehand, including sending trucks around New York selling merchandise and cupcakes, teaser videos, and a full-on social media marketing campaign.
The line will be in over 600 stores nationwide and will be sold on JCP.com. The website and 50 select stores will recieve advance merchandise to sell starting November 6th.
