The ‘Avengers’ Crew Has a Week to Turn Cleveland Into Times Square
Now is the time for some moviemaking magic: Marvel Studios has until August 15 to turn a stretch of downtown Ohio into Times Square. Yes, the one from New York City. Movieline reports that shooting of Joss Whedon‘s The Avengers begins then, presumably involving scenes where the superheroes meet at one of the S.H.I.E.L.D. offices in Manhattan. We’re guessing that shooting in NYC cost way too much, and Cleveland was a better choice for indoor scenes. ‘One Tree Hill’ Continues to Support North Carolina Strip Clubs While Shooting Season 9
Before The Hunger Games, the state of North Carolina mostly dealt in overblown teen dramas: One Tree Hill shoots almost exclusively there, hiring college students (like Lilit’s sister!) to play extras as well as patronizing local businesses. One of those establishments? Pure Gold, a gentlemen’s club that has featured heavily in the show’s history. Every few seasons, there’s a plotline where the gang heads to the strip club, either to check out the entertainment or because they’re forced to take the stage themselves. Snap This: Suzanne Collins Gets in on the ‘Hunger Games’ Fun
It looks like Lionsgate is finally allowing set photos from The Hunger Games to be released to the public — or the studio is realizing that with social media and Twitter-ready fans camped out in North Carolina, there’s no use fighting this free publicity. Starcasm has a whole bunch of photos from the set, including Jennifer Lawrence in Katniss’ reaping dress and buildings dressed up to look like District 12.

Hilary Duff the Flapper on “Gossip Girl” Set
Hilary Duff returned to filming Gossip Girl yesterday in Chelsea, New York. She was dressed up in 1920s flapper style, first getting her hair styled, then later changing into a flapper dress. The style looks amazing on her, don’t you think?
By my rough estimate, this may be the 3rd episode that Hilary Duff has filmed for Gossip Girl, out of the 6 scheduled. I look forward to hearing more about how this scene fits in!!

On the set of Gossip Girl this morning, after Hilary dropped Lola off in her trailer, Hilary was seen heading to the food van for breakfast or a snack.

Aw!! We saw that Hilary Duff flew into New York with two of her dogs, Lola and Coco, and now it looks like they’re keeping Hilary company on set. This morning, a very sleepy-looking Hilary was seen carrying a very excited Lola to her trailer at the set of Gossip Girl.

Hilary Duff Glams Up “Gossip Girl”
Although Hilary Duff arrived yesterday to the Gossip Girl set wearing a casual outfit, it looks like her scenes near Gramercy Park were anything but casual! I’m guessing this is a scene where Hilary Duff’s character, Olivia Burke, is doing something as an actress.
It looks to me like this is another bandage dress from Hervé Léger, which to me is a nicer one than the green dress Hilary wore to host the Hervé Léger party earlier this year…. More »
Hilary Duff Films by Gramercy Park
In addition to the photos already posted yesterday, I have more photos of Hilary Duff’s morning on the New York set of Gossip Girl, where she’s filming a six-episode guest arc as Olivia Burke. The early morning scenes were filmed near Gramercy Park, though later in the day we see Hilary much more dressed up (photos to come!).

This morning, Hilary Duff was photographed returning to the New York set of Gossip Girl, where she’s filming a six-episode guest arc as Olivia Burke, an actress who is seeking some ‘real’ life experiences at NYU.

Hilary Duff Back on “Gossip Girl” Set
Hilary Duff was spotted back on the set of Gossip Girl in New York yesterday to re-shoot some scenes from her first day. This first day shows Hilary’s character Olivia Burke meeting Penn Badgely’s character Dan. At this point, Dan doesn’t know that Olivia is an actress, just that she’s a student at NYU.
According to the latest fan club email, Hilary Duff will be visiting Bogota, as previously mentioned, “within the next few days.”

Hilary Duff was spotted filming the movie premiere scene of Gossip Girl alongside Tyra Banks at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York. Hilary Duff’s character is actress Olivia Burke and Tyra Banks plays actress Ursula Nyquist. In this scene, they’re attending a movie premiere for a film they presumably co-starred in called Fleur.

Hilary Duff was spotted either arriving to, or leaving from, the Gossip Girl set yesterday. I think she looks great with the simple scarf really popping her outfit.
