Johnny Depp is the latest celeb who’s been forced to backtrack from a shitty, insensitive comment he made to the press. In an interview with Vanity Fair, Johnny said the following about being photographed by the paparazzi: “Well, you just feel like you’re being raped somehow. Raped … It feels like a kind of weird — just weird, man.” Naturally, the comment was pretty alarming and now Johnny has released a statement apologizing for his insensitivity: More »
We’re blown away by Adele‘s voice, so we hate to see her in an uncomfortable situation, like when the paparazzi caught her without make-up. But good for her for succumbing to the inevitable and letting them snap a few shots. More »
Britney Spears is currently filming the video for her new single “Criminal” on location in London. Her new-ish boyfriend is in the video with her, because why not? It was all her idea! “I’m shooting a video [and] I’ve never shot on location out of the country of America for a video,” she told AOL. (Oh, Brit Brit.) “So, it should be very interesting. It was partly my idea … to see if it could to happen, and they were like, ‘Yeah, it’s a great idea,’ so we did it.” There are guns, convenience stores, and booty shorts. Could it be that she’s attempting to critically engage with the socioeconomic problems that recently caused the citizens of that good city to riot? Let’s take a look. More »

Not being famous, perhaps I wouldn’t know this, but to my way of thinking, the absolute worst thing about being famous has got to be dealing with the paparazzi. Sure, when you live a public life, photographers are always going to be an issue, but I still feel bad for actors, musicians, artists, etc. who get hounded all the time for no other reason than that they happen to make a living in the entertainment industry. But celebs aren’t always victims; occasionally, they fight back! Sometimes the attacks more warranted than others, but either way, they make for interesting tabloid fodder. Actually, here’s a question for you: If a celeb is busy attacking a photographer snapping pictures of the celebrity’s everyday life, what does that make the photographer who’s snapping pictures of the incident? Food for thought… More »
Anne Hathaway has two choices for how she responds to the paparazzi snapping pics of her on the Dark Knight Rises set:
1) Rolling her eyes and pursing her lips and being a prissy bitch.
Please, Anne, always resort to imitating Lil Wayne from here forth. More »
We’re split here. On the one hand, we’re glad to see a celebrity kid like Henry Aronofsky, so imbued with innocence that he doesn’t notice why mom Rachel Weisz and stepdad Daniel Craig are aggravated over the paparazzi snapping their arrival to New York. But we also know that that kind of unguarded cheeriness will land him in Suri’s Burn Book — because it’s against the laws of celebrity offspring behavior to display anything but cool detachment in your photos, as Suri Cruise does. Because I kept getting Britney Spears‘ newest song “I Wanna Go” confused with “Till the World Ends,” I checked out the music video yesterday. It’s so bad! I had a flicker of hope when she starts things off by pointing at paparazzi and saying, “F–k you, f–k you, and f–k you.” But when she takes to the streets of LA to fight the cybernetic photogs, it all goes downhill — not least because this is her third music video striking back at the paps. It must be hard to be a celebrity. Every dumb thing you do – from drunken making out to falling and bumping your head – gets captured by a paparazzo’s camera. And you can’t even leave the house to pick up your mail or walk your dog without somebody making fun of your outfit. So these “black bar” glasses from Urban Outfitters are basically the best thing for any celebrity. More »

Miley Cryrus has been going through a lot as of late with her dad spewing all he can to the press and her mother being caught in rumors of an affair. I’m sure she’s stressed out. Miley’s temper flared when a paparazzo accidentally hit her mom, Tish Cyrus, with his camera running to get a picture of Miley. Miley then loses her shit, yelling at the paparazzo. More »
How sexy is this husband and wife moment?
According to Entertainment Weekly, Michael Douglas and wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, were in London this past week to receive an honor for film and charitable achievements; Catherine was also dubbed Commander of the Order of the British empire. Shia Labeouf‘s been spotted out and about with a new lady recently, a Vietnamese woman named Karolyn Pho. Karolyn’s a 22-year-old stylist from Anaheim, California — and that’s pretty much all we know about her. She’s a mystery! We’ve managed to deduce that she’s fond of black clothing and meals at cute outdoor tables, though. Also: lots of sunglasses, this one has. More »
How’d you ring in the birth of 2011? We were standing three-deep in line in the bar waiting for a round of beers, which is why we missed Greyson Chance‘s rendition of “Paparazzi,” which the teen YouTube star performed just minutes before the clock struck midnight More »
Look, we know how it is with the post-holiday food fetishism. We’re definitely not ones to talk in that department, especially after some of us gave ourselves a weird stomach bug after eating an entire bag of chocolate covered candy pecans for breakfast Saturday morning. And that’s without the paparazzi snapping pictures of us chowing down.
That being said, today wasn’t Tori Spelling‘s finest culinary excursion. More »

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are fighting back at paparazzo photo agency X17 after the company known for candid photos of Lindsay Lohan passed-out in her car parked their vehicles outside 2-year-old Harlow Madden‘s pre-school. While all photo agencies are pretty scummy, X17 works hard at being deplorable: stalking celebrity children, hunting down celebs to catch them at their worst moments, and in some cases, even resorting to libelous stories in order to get their “exclusives.” More »
Doris Roberts goes shopping at an Apple store in Hollywood. Did she buy an iPhone? An iPad? A Macbook that she will try to use as bait to get her grandchildren over so they can show her how to use it? We don’t know! Maybe her people are trying to make Doris the next Betty White and are declaring all access to her seemingly mundane life exclusive. In which case, well played, madame.
