If you’re going to build a large shopping center, it’s pretty standard that there will be a large space for events and celebratory decorations. In America, we customarily fill these spaces with live men in Santa Claus suits so as to extract as much money from beleaguered parents as possible. But in this Catalonian shopping center in Spain, they take a different approach.
According to Buzzfeed, this is a Cagnar statue. The Caganar figure is often found in nativity scenes and represents fertilizing of the earth. But I’d like to think of him as a literal embodiment of what it’s like to be in a mall at Christmas time. More »
Poor Pete Wentz! He is just such a good sport sometimes. Here he was during a morning show interview where they made him taste a candy bar that was mushed into a diaper (thereby resembling poop). Incredibly lame bit, something only a radio morning crew would do. But of course Pete does it without making himself look like an idiot. Check it out:
