Young stars seem to be really taking over the entertainment industry and I want to know which of these young pop sensations you find to be the most talented.

Options are Taylor Swift with her amazing songwriting abilities, Nick Jonas who also writes great music and now has his own band, Miley Cyrus who has taken the industry by storm, the Jonas Brothers (need I say more?), and Justin Bieber who has melted the heart of millions of teen girls.

Vote for who you think is the most talented, or if you have another suggestion, post a comment below! I’ll announce the winner in a week.

She has broken the record for the most downloads for a female artist, which is quite an accomplishment. I’ve heard a lot of mixed opinions about her. So, I want to know what Pop Music Scene readers think! Is Ke$ha a one-hit-wonder?

The first song off of Pink’s 2001 album, Missundaztood was the hugely popular track, “Get the Party Started.” It became popular internationally, and I don’t know about you guys, but it definitely got my attention!

She said of writing the song, "You create something in your bedroom or your house, and it’s just a fun thing that you’re doing. Then all of a sudden, you hear that song that you started in your house, and it’s on the radio. And people are now acknowledging it. It’s just trippy."

How can you not love this song?! And it looks like she had a grand ol’ time shooting the video. Enjoy your pop flashback!

Can you guys believe 2010 is just around the corner?! It’s crazy! Anyways, this year we got to see some promising new male artists and I want to know who you want to see more of in the new year.

Kris Allen won the honor of being crowned the American Idol of season 8. The cutie then broke out with a fresh and catchy tune (listen here), which must have made for a great year for Kris. Though Adam Lambert did not win the title of Idol, the runner-up definitely made his presence known with an extravagant, much talked-about performance at the AMAs as well as appearing on the 2012 soundtrack.

Yes, young ladies fell for Nick Jonas as he pumped out hits with the Jonas Brothers, but Nick’s new project, Nick Jonas & the Administration is definitely highly anticipated. Sure, Nick has had more time to steal the hearts of young girls, but this year, Justin Bieber has taken the teeny bopper crowd by storm with his hit “One Time,” making him one of the most-loved new male pop artists of 2009.

So, out of these talented four fellows, who do you want to see more of in 2010? Let me know in the poll below or suggest another new male pop artist in the comments section.

As you probably know by know, teen queen Miley Cyrus has been voted as the Worst Influence of 2009. The voting was held by a site called AOL’s JSYK.com (Just So You Know) and people decided that she’s not quite Disney appropriate.

Miley beat out Britney Spears (second place) and Kanye West (third place), seemingly because of the ‘>pole dancing controversy, in which Miley stood on top of an ice cream cart, which had a pole on it and was being pushed across the stage at the Teen Choice Awards.

Editor of the website, Stephanie Cohen, says "I think Miley is in an interesting space where she is trying to graduate from being ‘Hannah Montana’ and a Disney channel celebrity and coming into her own and having a career beyond Disney."

She adds, "I think her fans still want her to be the sweet Hannah Montana and she is trying to age up…Parents are definitely resisting it."

Vanessa Hudgens (High School Musical) came in fourth, while Transformers star Shia LaBeouf came in fifth. Though, there might not be a real feud going on between Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez, Miley can be jealous of Selena for one thing: Selena was voted the Best Influence of this year, with best friend Taylor Swift coming in second. Nick Jonas came in third, Emma Watson in fourth and Justin Bieber in fifth.

I was just outraged that Britney Spears was voted the second worst. She should be seen more of as a comeback story. This year has been big for her. She is finally getting over that dark moment in her life, came out with and awesome record and is rocking it out. It’s a great story, and certainly not deserving to be worst over Kanye West…

And it’s pretty harsh that Miley was voted the absolute worst. Do you think Miley deserved the title? She has made quite a few thoughtless decisions, and she does seem to be trying to grow up way too fast, but is this title too harsh?

Isn’t it nice to step back in time every once and a while? Today, our pop music flashback is No Doubt’s catchy tune, “Don’t Speak.” The song was released in 1996 (it doesn’t even feel like it was 13 years ago!) off of their 1995 album, Tragic Kingdom, which was their second album.

This single is actually their most successful international track and stayed at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Airplay for sixteen weeks. During the 1998 Grammy Awards, No Doubt was nominated for the Song of the Year award and the Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal.

The music video won for Best Group Video and was nominated for the Video of the Year at the 1997 Video Music Awards. The song is still good even after 13 years! Are you guys fans?

Serabee is a singer and songwriter with Southern roots, who is making her way to the top and has already enjoyed a piece of success. If you’ve ever heard Charlotte Church’s platinum hit, “Crazy Chick”, then you should know that Serabee actually wrote that song.

She’s originally from Mississippi and has become a pretty hot on the music scene in New Orleans. Her debut single is called “Driving Me Stupid” and is off of her upcoming debut album, which will be released through Universal Republic Records on November 10th.

It’s really interesting to see how her Southern musical influence, fuses with the pop sound. It’s definitely worth a listen.
