Jason Mraz shared in a VH1 interview that there’s actually a different ending to this video but it didn’t make it to the final cut. It’s actually a good concept because in the ending there was supposed to be a woman with him in Prague and a man on the beach with Colbie. So then we’d be like, "oh, they’re not singing the song to each other", they’re both with other people, respectively. I can understand why it didn’t make it though. It would’ve played with the fans’ emotions. It is much better to think that Jason is singing to Colbie from Prague, while Colbie is singing to Jason from the beach. It makes us think they’re actually a couple .

Clumsy, from Fergie’s "The Dutchess" album is one of my favorite song from the entire album. It’s actually the one song that received the multiple repeat button treatment on the CD player. The song is very catchy and playful as well. When the video came out, I liked it even more. The pop up concept from all the different sequences on the video was so creative. It wasn’t just a typical pop star video. There was actually a "story" and the implementation with how every scene popped out like a children’s book was very impressive.

BTW, I also love the colors. They added another dimension to the Clumsy video, that’s for sure. People may not pay attention to these kind of details but I do. The colors were pleasing and fun to the eyes at the same time.

Nickelodeon young star Miranda Cosgrove released a new video for her 3rd single “About You Now” off of the iCarly soundtrack which is also a cover of Sugababes’ 2007 single. The video shows Miranda out in the mall, shopping and hanging out with her friends. Every time they do something, Miranda is reminded of a boyfriend whom she broke up with due to misunderstanding.

Britney Spears’ “Circus” video is out. A leak came out a few days ago, but here it is now, and you can watch it in full length.

I love it. I Think it’s actually one of the best videos that Britney has ever released. It’s sexy, glamourous and the dance steps are hot. Britney Spears looked gorgeous too. I love the part where she’s sitting in front of a mirror and dancing in the the chair. The way it was shot in the back is really hot. I also love the other chair-dancing sequence with her dancers, and the solo Britney on a platform with the fireworks. What do you think?

As promised last Sunday, “Keeps Gettin’ Better” Video by Christina Aguilera premiered yesterday, October 27th. So what did I think of the video? 2 words. Futuristic Narcissism.

It was all Christina Aguilera. No other extras, no background dancers. The video featured different personas of Christina, watched through a futuristic wall screen, controlled and technologically maneuvered by a hoodie clad Christina Aguilera with her signature red lipstick and platinum hair. If you want to see Christina Aguilera in all her different “personalities”, may it be a sweet looking girl on a bike wearing a floral short, a voyeuristic chick on a western set, a blue-dyed hair ’60’s chick in a car, a seductress or a leather clad badass superhero with huge hair, then you’ll love “Keeps Gettin’ Better” video.

What do you think? I would’ve preferred 1 scene where she is dancing with a few people. The song makes me want to dance. My dance training had given me a few choreographic steps to form a dance routine that I think would look hot and sexy. Christina is a good dancer, besides being a good singer so I wished there was at least one scene of that. I mean, it would still be all about her so it couldn’t have hurt, heh.

Lady Gaga’s “Beautiful Dirty Rich” video is exactly what the title says. It’s beautiful, dirty and rich. Although the “dirty” part is not really dirty. I was expecting more of a mud wrestling scene or Amy Winehouse making a cameo. Now THAT is dirty, heh.  But I guess not. Which is a good thing actually. Who wants to see Amy Winehouse in a video or anywhere else for that matter anyway? Not me.

I don’t mean to offend anyone but I just can’t help but notice Lady Gaga’s resemblance to Christina Aguilera and now even Britney Spears. The part where she is in a white top and shorts dancing solo. That makes me think of Britney Spears. Even Madonna. Anyhoo, good video.

It’s a different case with her new single “Angel“. Now here’s a melodic song, sang soulfully and softly. BUT, of course there’s a but , the video seem to have missed the message. The lyrics, which you’ll find after the jump of this post, doesn’t match the concept used in the video. It’s kinda dark for a song that’s supposed to be singing about being an “Angel”. Black leather jacket, exposed cleavage/bra and red lipstick. It looks more like a Dominatrix to me, heh.

Sure there were traces of a “white” alter-ego as the Angel character, I suppose. I do believe they could’ve come up with a sentimental video concept to deliver excatly what the song is all about. Showing Natasha Bedingfield in a red, silver, and black gown simultaneously totally missed the whole point.

Oh well, I’ll take what I can .

What is up with the half-red gloves? These teen pop stars need to stop messing up Fashion. Either wear a freaking pair gloves or not. Don’t wear something that’s half-way cut. For crying out loud. But whatever. I wish she’d wear some bright colors sometimes. And cute Teen clothes instead of black all the time. I’m glad she’s not wearing some awful looking jacket with buttons in the front like the one she wore at the 2008 Teen Choice Awards. Gosh that was ugly.

Back to the music video and song. It’s alright I guess. Nice beat, and guitar riffs. The beginning made me think of a good sitcom song intro. Kinda like “Ill Be There For You” for FRIENDS.
