Smallville and Supernatural will have a panel and screening on July 26, and clips from the coming season will be shown! There have been a lot of speculations about Smallville season 9 including a spin-off, a feature length movie-for-TV and what have you, all because of a rumored signage that someone saw at the Comic Con prep rooms. Don’t get me wrong, I would love to know, so that’s gotta come up at the Q&A. Erica Durance, Justin Hartley and Cassidy Freeman will on panel to answer questions on Sunday July 26. Justin Hartley is always fun to watch, and of course Erica and Cassidy already have their fanboy followings so this would be a big thing.

But I’m also excited about the other series that WB will show, particularly “Fringe” and “Chuck” which are personal favorites in my house. And then there are the new shows “Vampire Diaries”, “Human Target” and “Eastwick”. Without doubt, the “Vampire Diaries” is jumping on the bandwagon that is Twilight, but I hope it can come out of that shadow with it’s own spin on the vampire legends. Same with “Eastwick” which is a story about three friends who discovered their witch-powers when a mysterious man comes to town.

Have I got a sneak full of spoilers! Four scenes preview what Monday’s episode is all about. “Eris quod sum” – “I am what you will be.” Is the future inevitable? Here is what you’ll see from the video, which for spoiler’s sake I’ll add after the cut.

An honest girl talk. Elle Bishop invades the Bennet’s home and Claire and Elle fight it out. But it’s not what it seems like. Elle is asking for help. And she and Claire have an honest girl talk.

Father versus son. Last episode we saw Arthur take away Peter’s powers and lock him up. The father gives him another chance to help “for the greater good” to prevent what Peter foresaw of the future. Can Peter trust his dad?

Maya’s powers – gone. Poor Mohinder. If only he knew it were this easy to take away Maya’s powers… but would he trade taking it away to someone who wants it all?

Mohinder’s plea. This scene probably came before the one before it, but Mohinder asks for one more chance from Nathan and Tracy, to understand how synthetic powers work.

In this deleted scene, you’re about to find out exactly what Kaito can do. This is from Heroes volume 2: Generations, episode 1 “Four Months Later”.

In his own words, Kaito admits that he can analyze the variables in a situation and predict the outcome. That’s how he made money off the stock market. And to show exactly how, Kaito opened a newspaper to the stock market page and visualized several numbers. So essentially, he removed noise, unwanted variables. Unfortunately, this is also the scene where a picture of his, marked with the symbol in blood, fell off that same newspaper.

Heroes episode 3.02 “Butterfly Effect“

Fans at the San Diego Comic Con ‘08 got treated to a showing of the first full hour of season 3  “HEROES: Villains“. It has been a long 9 months since season 2 ended and fans are so hungry for the show, Tim Kring actually wanted for people to tell the world that “Heroes is back!”.

So, without further adieu, here is the first 15 minutes of the third volume “Villains” premiere episode “The Second Coming”. Shown at the Comic Con, this video is not the best quality, but even with it I got the goosebumps.

Heroes episode 3.02 “Butterfly Effect“

If you were at the SD Comic Con ‘08, these pictures might already look familiar, if they were shown in the first hour of the premiere for “Heroes: Villains”

The promotional pictures show almost all the cast members but very little is revealed, except maybe Mohinder and Maya’s scene. And I take it Claire just saw Sylar standing at her doorway.

Hayden Panettiere reportedly ripped off her cheerleader outfit on the set of Heroes to reveal a red lingerie. While singing a “happy birthday” to boyfriend Milo Ventimiglia during lunch, Hayden stripteased a velcro-lined version of her cheerleading outfit and showed off a sexy underwear to Milo… and to the rest of the cast and crew present.

No doubt Milo’s face turned bright red.

About Heroes season 3 plot and Sylar’s character: Some of the pairings of characters (season 1) will be revisited for season 3. Sylar will begin to display “some restraint against his instinctual desire to kill.” I wonder if these are references to Sylar teaming up with HRG and Claire.

Milo Ventimiglia posed with Capt. Holly Brewer, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 3rd BCT, 101st Abn. Div. (AASLT).

He was visiting American soldiers stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan. That is so endearing! He skipped being with girlfriend Hayden Panettiere, who was obviously stunning at the party, to spend time with the men and women of the U.S. armed forces. In his own words –

“This opportunity gives me the chance to meet the real heroes of this country.”

And in a place where heroes really mean something, the soldiers asked why Peter Petrelli hasn’t killed Sylar yet. The Heroes actor replies with a mini-spoiler. Milo also has a short clip of the BlackHawk that he was about to board.

A woman asks to hug Milo and take a picture with him! (Lucky her!!!), to the “boohs” of everyone else. Then someone asks the cast to describe Heroes in one word. “Fantastical” “Brouhaha!” “Adrenalin” “Melt your head” “Sexy”…

A fan asks what powers they would take, then someone dressed up in Samurai (which Hiro loved!) asks about graphic novels and extras. Jeph Loeb adds that unknown episodes will be available in the season 2 DVD. A boy shouts his love for the greatest hero in the series- Sylo!

And when the next question was asked about Sylar, Zachary Quinto replies, “I believe it’s Sylo!”
