This is a post from our sister site, Mommyish. Jessica Simpson is sporting a huge baby bump and yet she’s allegedly demanding half-million dollars to make the news official. Puh-leeze. According to the New York Post, Simpson, 31, is refusing to admit she’s pregnant until she has a magazine “deal” in place (in other words, she’s willing to give someone an exclusive in exchange for a cool $500K). Not surprisingly, it’s her creepy dad-slash-manager Joe Simpson who came with the brilliant idea. Kudos To Bones For Acknowledging Emily Deschanel’s Pregnancy In The Promo Poster

Many TV shows are at a loss of what to do when their star gets pregnant. How I Met Your Mother is the most glaring example I can think of: In a season where both Alyson Hannigan and Cobie Smulders were expecting, their characters spent most of their scenes hidden behind huge handbags and other odd props.

But the Bones showrunners decided to wholeheartedly embrace Emily Deschanel‘s pregnancy… or maybe it was just good timing, since they claim that they had already written into the show that Temperance Brennan gets pregnant by her partner Seeley Booth.

Regardless, the evidence is on the poster for season 7: Instead of coyly hiding Bones behind a medical table or even crouching at a crime scene, they have Booth literally pointing a flashlight at her belly/their fetus. It’s unsubtle and slightly cheesy, and as a diehard Bones fan, I love it.

Also, Booth has his hand out to support his babymama lest she slip on some decomposed human. It’s just too cute.

For someone so rich, Beyoncé sure was a cheapskate when she bought her fake pregnancy belly. The thing deflated when she did something so simple as sit down for an interview! (Also, in .gif form.) Whether Bey was faking it until her surrogate popped out a baby or what, she really should’ve gone the movie route and invested in a reliable fake belly. Consider the faux-baby bumps in our gallery—these have survived the slapstick of rom-coms and fight sequences in epic fantasy films. They could’ve made it through an eleven-minute interview.

Beyonce’s Face Has Not Changed At All In 5 Months Of Pregnancy

Now that we have reason to suspect that Beyonce‘s a pregnancy-faking liar, we’re seeing clues to her charade everywhere. How come she hasn’t gained a bit of weight anywhere but in that impressive belly? Because really, her face has stayed exactly the same throughout the entirety of this alleged pregnancy.

The image above shows a morph between a photo taken last May, around the time Beyonce would have gotten pregnant, and a photo taken about two weeks ago, well into the period when Beyonce had been sporting an impressive baby bump. (Ugh, is there any term worse than “baby bump”? Sorry.)

Is this necessarily proof that Beyonce’s faking her pregnancy? No, some pregnant women simply don’t gain as much weight in other areas of their bodies. However, the degree to which Beyonce’s face stays exactly the same is rather alarming — if not because it proves she’s a pregnancy-faking nut, but because it proves she might be a robot.

Destiny’s child might be nothing but a sham, you guys! It looks like Beyonce is faking her pregnancy. The singer appeared on the Australian news program Sunday Night HD over the weekend — and when she sat down for a Q&A with the show’s host, her supposedly pregnant belly appeared to collapse in on itself, leaving viewers to speculate that it might be a prosthetic. Here’s a screengrab of the moment it flattens:

No way there’s an actual baby in there, right? So, what the hell? Why is Beyonce doing this? The rumor circulating is that the singer and her husband Jay-Z have hired a surrogate to carry the child. Presumably, the couple assumes that admitting so much would make them look bad, so they’re faking things with a foam fetus. Which makes Beyonce quotes like, “I want you to feel the love that’s growing inside me,” said at the MTV VMAs when her “pregnancy” was revealed, feel awfully manipulative.

Beyonce is officially 30-years-old, although there has been speculation her entire career that she’s actually several years older than that. So, conceivably, Beyonce feels she’s at an age when it’s no longer prudent to carry a child. The lies, they continue to mount!

So far Beyonce and Jay-Z have refused to comment. So, will they come clean or keep up the charade with an ever-expanding collection of prosthetics? And how bad will the backlash be? The child is due is February, so we have many more months to watch the saga unfold… and pop back into shape, etc.

UPDATE: Beyonce’s publicist has called the news, “Stupid, ridiculous and false.” All right, then.

Jessica Simpson Might Be Pregnant

Nick Lachey might’ve gotten remarried first, but if the rumors and “reports” are true, then Jessica Simpson beat her ex to something else: Multiple outlets say that the singer and one-time Newlyweds star might be expecting her first child.

But take this announcement with a grain of salt, since it’s coming from In Touch Weekly and not a more reputable source like People. They say that at fiancé Eric Johnson‘s 32nd birthday party recently, Jessica sent back her glass of champagne. From there, we jump to a source saying she’s already having “kooky cravings,” especially (this triggers our gag reflexes) nacho chips dipped in chocolate.

Celebitchy points to a recent blind item from Blind Gossip, posted a little over a week ago, that definitely seems to fit:

This female star has certainly had her ups and downs. Her career has gone up and down and has expanded over more than one creative medium. She has dated at least three or four famous guys, has been married to and divorced from another celebrity, and is a tabloid staple. Depending on who you talk to and which day it is, she is either gorgeous or ugly. Well, we know one thing for sure: she is pregnant! She is seven weeks along, and you should expect the announcement within the next couple of weeks. She could wait longer, but she wants to avoid the criticisms about her fluctuating weight. She thinks it will be good for people to know that she “has a baby on board, rather than a burrito on board.” Both she and her partner are very happy about the pregnancy. Oh, and they will be getting married, although the wedding will now happen after the baby is born.

The detail that most fits is “depending on the day, she’s either gorgeous or ugly”: Jess has certainly had a tough time of it in the media, getting constant criticism for her mom jeans and her fluctuating weight.

This would seem to explain the rumors that Jessica was getting cold feet and the wedding would be pushed off indefinitely, though In Touch says that she and Eric will get hitched before the baby arrives in the spring. Oh, and remember what I said about People? Celebuzz reports that the magazine is coming out with a “special pregnancy announcement” in the next few weeks. So we’ll hunker down and wait for a big announcement over Twitter or in the mag, and in the meantime scrutinize pics of Jessica like the one above.

When was the last time the Internet got so riled up over a rumor? …Oh right, the origin of Miley Cyrus‘ lingerie photo. But at least this piece of “news” is more wholesome.
