True Blood Season Three: Now There Are Werewolf Nazis?
“I didn’t know vampires and werewolves were enemies,” said my dad after watching the season premiere of True Blood that we’ve all been waiting for. How could he not though? Hasn’t he seen Twilight? Oh that’s right; most guys have not read, seen, or involve themselves in any way shape or form with the Stephanie Meyers series. The same can’t be said for True Blood, which has a serious cult of dude followers, ostensibly into it because it’s on HBO and they can show tits, but secretly because dudes love vampire mythology as much as chicks do, but don’t want to come off as “gay.” Too bad then, because this season is seriously all about bro-love. Adam Brody at “Jennifer’s Body” Premiere
Adam Brody (Dave Rygalski on Gilmore Girls) stars in the horror film Jennifer’s Body, which comes out September 18, 2009. The film premiered last night at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in Canada, with much of the cast on hand to celebrate:

Gregg Henry at “Hung” Premiere
Gregg Henry (Mitchum Huntzberger on Gilmore Girls) hit the green carpet last night for the HBO premiere of their new series Hung, which held its premiere party at the Paramount Studios in LA.
Gregg landed a recurring role in Hung for this season, which premieres on June 28th. His character will be the assistant basketball coach. As yet, no episodic images or trailers feature him, but I’ll be keeping my eye out!! … More »
Todd Lowe at “True Blood” Premiere
Todd Lowe (Zack Van Gerbig on Gilmore Girls) guest starred during the first season of HBO’s True Blood last summer as Terry Bellefleur. In the Sookie Stackhouse Books, which True Blood is based upon, Terry Bellefleur is a Vietnam war veteran. However, in the televised series, Terry is much younger, though still a slightly scarred war veteran. Todd Lowe was made a regular member of the cast for Season 2, which premieres on June 14th.

Krysten Ritter at “Breaking Bad” Party
Krysten Ritter (Lucy on Gilmore Girls), who was recently cast in the new Gossip Girl prequel spin-off, also has a guest arc coming up for Season 2 of AMC’s Breaking Bad.
Breaking Bad returns for Season 2 on March 8th and the cast, including Krysten, celebrated the premiere last night with a party held at Arclight Cinemas in Hollywood.

“Becky Shaw” Premiere
Kelly Bishop (Emily Gilmore on Gilmore Girls) and Emily Bergl (Chilton’s elite Francie Jarvis in Gilmore Girls) star in the Second Stage production of Gina Gionfriddo’s play, Becky Shaw, directed by Peter DuBois. The play had its opening night on Thursday, January 8th. Gilmore Girls co-stars Lauren Graham (Lorelai Gilmore) and Edward Herrmann (Edward Gilmore) were on hand to support Kelly Bishop on opening night.
