The Cougar Town Cast Is Making A Bunch Of Fun Cameos On TV Shows This Fall

The Cougar Town Cast Is Making A Bunch Of Fun Cameos On TV Shows This Fall

Cougar Town creator Bill Lawrence is a big fan of cross-promotion: Last season, the Community character Abed (Danny Pudi) popped up in the background of a Cougar episode; and when Scrubs was still on the air, Bill let star Sarah Chalke play a recurring role on How I Met Your Mother.

Now, the entire Cougar Town cast is doing a mass exodus of cross-promotion all over TV this fall. More »

When we interviewed Liz Gillies at the Victorious press junket, she mentioned that her show would be doing a crossover with Nickelodeon’s other big earner, iCarly, called iParty with Victorious: “It’s wild and fun, and there’s a really cool guest star.” With the special airing on June 11, Nick just released a behind-the-scenes video of stars Miranda Cosgrove and Victoria Justice, plus their respective casts, performing a mash-up of their theme songs. Yep, they take the idea of a TV crossover very seriously. Oh, and Kenan Thompson is gonna be on it. More »

Melissa McCarthy To Guest Star On “Private Practice”

Melissa McCarthy To Guest Star On "Private Practice"

Here’s another scoop from Mike Ausiello: Melissa McCarthy, who played Lorelai’s best friend Sookie on Gilmore Girls, will be returning to television with a guest role on ABC’s Private Practice. This is super exciting since Melissa ended up leaving her last television role on the failed sitcom Hank. While this is just a guest role, it’ll be great to see Melissa on television again.

Melissa has two film roles in production on her IMDB page, “Life As We Know It,”… More »

Pre-Order DVDs with Gilmore Girls Stars

You can now pre-order the DVDs for Heroes – Season Three (starring Milo Vengimialia) & Supernatural: The Complete Fourth Season (starring Jared Padalecki). I personally enjoyed both series’ this past season, though Supernatural was fantastic beyond compare. Heroes made a bit of a comeback, so I look forward to where next season will go!

In addition, you can pre-order Samantha Who?: The Complete Second Season (starring Melissa McCarthy), which (unless the petition is successful) is the last season of the show…. More »

David Sutcliffe's "Private Practice" Arc

David Sutcliffe (Christopher Hayden on Gilmore Girls) completed his guest arc on ABC’s Private Practice after a total of 11 episodes. David Sutcliffe played Officer Kevin Nelson, a love interest for Addison (Kate Walsh).

Back in November when I last reviewed the ongoing relationship, David’s character had been shot and was struggling with feelings that he wasn’t good enough for Addison. And it was just a mess from there. In December, Kevin got… More »

Liz Torres on “Private Practice”

Liz Torres on "Private Practice"

Liz Torres (Miss Patty on Gilmore Girls) joined her Gilmore Girls co-star David Sutcliffe (Christopher) on Private Practice this week.

Liz Torres played a judge in the episode (2.07 ‘Tempting Faith’). She’s the judge presiding over a case where Violet (Amy Brenneman) is testifying in a trial against one of her clients, a pedophile. The judge decides that Violet must continue her therapy with the guy, which Violet is not happy about. Later, Violet has to call the judge back because… More »

David Sutcliffe talks Gilmore Girls

David Sutcliffe talks Gilmore Girls

David Sutcliffe attended the Sexiest Stars Party back in May of this year, and while there gave an interview in which he reflected on his Gilmore Girls experience, as Christopher Hayden. In the interview, he was talking about his guest role on Private Practice. Since I haven’t reflected… More »

David Sutcliffe Private Practice 1.09

Davie Sutcliffe made a re-appearance on Private Practice on the December 5th episode (1.09 "In Which Dell Finds His Fight") and things started to heat up between his character (Kevin Nelson) and Addison.
Unfortunately, no other episodes of Private Practice were filmed prior to the WGA strike. So, we’re going to have to wait a while before we can see this relationship play out!

Keiko Agena on Private Practice

Keiko Agena on Private Practice

Well, this went under the radar completely. Not published anywhere that it was going to happen. Keigo Agena was guest star on Private Practice last night.
Keiko played a nun, Sister Amy. The Sisters have come down with typhoid, which is how they weave into the episode. She looks a lot different than ‘Lane’ – older, more serious, and with a tattoo on her arm (hers or the characters, I’m not sure).
David Sutcliffe was not in this episode of… More »

David Sutcliffe made his first appearance on Private Practice this week (episode 1.07) as Officer Kevin Nelson.
I’ve taken a bunch of screencaps from the episode (more after the jump):

And here are the Officer Nelson & Addison scenes (the two will soon become romantically involved):

Sorry I missed letting you know about the date of his first appearance before the show. I kept looking for the exact date he’d be on, but it was never listed anywhere. Anyway, he’s a show… More »
