In anticipation of tomorrow’s premiere of Covert Affairs (starring Piper Perabo), USA Network dispatched a swarm of white trench coat-clad ladies to silently parade around New York City. In addition to trench coats, the ladies sported red hats, red “Covert Affairs” bags and black sunglasses. They started out on the Brooklyn Bridge wearing red stilettos, but by the time we caught them in Manhattan at Madison Square Park, the ladies had switched over to red flip-flops. Well, the Carrie Underwood versus Jessica Simpson saga continues. I don’t think Jessica is dragging this thing out, but it’s obvious some folks in country music are jumping on it (and taking Carrie’s “side”.)
