Las Vegas played host to a pair of celeb birthday parties this weekend: Ashley Greene turned 24 at the nightclub Pure, while Chord Overstreet celebrated his 22nd year at Tao. Both were gifted with a fanciful cake worthy of its own TLC show.

Condensed Action Movie Cliches, Just Add Water

In the same vein as “Get Out Of There” and “Mirror Scares,” this new trend of super cutting common movie tropes has finally produced an homage of every (well, not every, but close enough) Hollywood action cliche in the book. Examples include “turning head around fast,” “walking slowly with purpose,” and the infamous “running up/down stairwells.” Hey, cool guys don’t look at explosions.

Lindsay Lohan at Pure – Videos

The following two videos are from this past weekend in Las Vegas, where Lindsay Lohan flew down for her 6126 Holiday Collection launch at Pure, a club inside Caesars Palace.

Lindsay joined Samantha in the DJ booth and danced to her own music, “Bossy“, as it was played. After models took the floor to show off the new 6126 styles, Lindsay reportedly took time to thank her guests for coming (proceeds supported Ovarian Cancer Research). Lindsay & Sam stayed to 2am, well after the show and their duties were done. They lounged on the VIP bed in the club – photos here!

Lindsay Lohan 6126 Launch at Pure

Lindsay Lohan celebrated the launch of her 6126 Holiday Collection of leggings last night in Las Vegas at Pure Nightclub. She arrived to the club close to midnight, posing very very briefly for the cameras, before running into the nightclub. People there to get interviews with LIndsay had only the briefest minute to catch her thoughts. Samantha Ronson was there with Lindsay too and was the DJ for the night.

Lindsay looked stunning wearing a black mini dress. If you look closely, you can see it has a gorgeous crochet overlay. I love the heart shape at the top.

Lindsay Lohan to Host Party at PURE

Lindsay Lohan will be hosting a special party at PURE Nightclub at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on November 7th, 2008. The special party will be to celebrate the Holiday Collection of her 6126 brand in a “fashion showcase”.

If you recall, Lindsay Lohan was at one point supposed to have a big birthday bash at PURE, prior to going to rehab last year.
