Dolly Parton is 66 this month, but you wouldn’t know it from looking at her! …Actually, it’s pretty clear thanks to Dolly’s many plastic surgeries since she first became famous in the music and movie worlds back in 1980. Dolly’s happy to share insight on her many nips and tucks; she’s known for laughing, “If it’s a-sagging, a-bagging or a-dragging, I go get it fixed! I get it sucked, plucked, and tucked!”

Dolly stars opposite Queen Latifah in the new gospel movie Joyful Noise, so it’s clear that she’s not slowing down anytime soon. But we were curious—seeing as we’ve only known her as the slightly plastic, collagen-stuffed, platinum-blonde star, what was she like back in her first film Nine to Five?

And what better way to introduce your wee ones to the hilarity of celebrity culture than with these 15 kid’s books penned by the likes of Ricky Gervais, Julianne Moore, Bob Dylan, and Perez Hilton? Here’s what I want to know: When is the Britney Spears children’s book about haircare appreciation happening?

It’s long been rumored that Queen Latifah is a lesbian, and the actress finally de facto came out in an interview with Sister 2 Sister magazine. Latifah — who reportedly recently split from her longtime girlfriend, celeb personal trainer Jeanette Jenkins — was asked what kind of women she’s attracted to:

“I just like ladies who have class. Period. And if it’s “T and A” you’re sellin’, that’s fine, as long as that’s what you’re selling. But you don’t have to show everything, you know? You can hold some back and just be yourself and let your personality shine and let your individuality show. To me, that’s sexier. A confident woman is a sexy woman, in my opinion.”

Queen Latifah has been dodging questions about her sexuality for years and it’s great to see her finally open up about her proclivity for the finer sex. Personally, I’ve always been on the “celebrities should just be honest about this stuff” side of the “is their gayness our business?” argument, and the more awesome women like Latifah that come out, the better for everyone. Your turn, Alicia Keys/Jada Pinkett Smith/Anne Hathaway, etc!

P.S. This reminds us of our favorite-ever Onion headline, “King Latifah Returns for Wife.” Guess you’re out of luck, buddy!

There’s something, dare I say, magical about the Disney Dream Portrait series, where photographer Annie Leibovitz reimagines well-known celebrities as memorable characters from our favorite animated movies. Disney has just released three new images, featuring Olivia Wilde, Penélope Cruz, and others. Welcome to Crush This, your weekly guide to what’s new in movies, music and TV. We’ve navigated the inner reaches of our entertainment-obsessed brains in search of all the pop culture landscape has to offer. This week, we’re getting into the summer movie season with big releases like Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood with Russell Crowe in the lead role and romantic comedies Letters to Juliet and Just Wright. And don’t miss this week’s season finales of some of your favorite TV shows like Vampire Diaries — especially if they haven’t been renewed by the networks yet.

Movies: We may not need another Robin Hood remake, but this week’s version starring Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett — in theaters Friday — actually looks pretty good. It’s written by Brian Helgeland, who wrote one of our favorite movies about knighthood, A Knight’s Tale, as well as action packed movies like L.A. Confidential, Conspiracy Theory and Green Zone and it’s directed by Ridley Scott. That’s good enough for us.

For romantic comedy, Letters to Juliet, with Amanda Seyfried and Christopher Egan, looks sappy and satisfying, and Just Wright, starring Queen Latifah and Common, is saucy and seductive. Or try TiMER, starring Emma Caulfield best known from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which is in limited release in New York starting Friday.

TV: Mid-season shows are pretty much done premiering, but on Monday you can watch the debut of VH1′s newest show Undateable, which is pretty much what is sounds like — you’ll learn all those things that make men “undateable” that they may not be aware of.

We’re also getting to season finale time. Vampire Diaries and Supernatural on CW will be having their finales on Thursday and NBC’s Trauma and Mercy wrap up their first seasons on Monday and Wednesday, respectively. Other finales this week: Private Practice on Thursday, Smallville on Friday and Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters on Sunday. The networks have yet to reveal their full schedules for the coming season — and some of these shows, like Private Practice, are on the bubble. So make sure to watch this week, because it might end up being the series finale!

Also this week, watch the season finale of Saturday Night Live with guest host Alec Baldwin and musical guest Tom Petty. It’s Alec’s 15th time hosting the historic late night show — but can he top Betty White in terms of comedic genius?

Music: If you’ve been really enjoying this season of American Idol (we have our own thoughts) you won’t want to miss this season’s new CD release, out Tuesday. This 10-track album — called American Idol: Season 9 — features a song each from the season’s top 10 finalists, including favorite Crystal Bowersox‘s “Me and Bobby McGee” and just-eliminated Aaron Kelly’s “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing.” Also out on Tuesday, the first mainstream album from Christian singer Jennifer Knapp, one month after she revealed she was gay in The Advocate. The albums title, Letting Go, reveals Jennifer’s feelings on revealing her sexuality and making the move into the mainstream music scene.

Staten Island’s P.S. 22 may have one of the most viral chorus groups of all time (seriously, for a public school they have a great P.R. team), with big love from the likes of Perez Hilton, Passion Pit (which had the group of kids sing on three of their tracks, and Barack Obama. And most of these kids aren’t even old enough to know who those people are. But when Queen Latifah and Common made a surprise visit to where the group was recording Latifah’s song “Champion,” the reaction from the chorus is priceless. Barack Obama, okay, big deal…but QUEEN LATIFAH!

Paris Hilton at Queen Latifah’s Birthday – More Pics

Queen Latifah celebrated her birthday with friends and family this weekend and Paris Hilton was one of the many celebs in attendance. Guests at SIR Studios enjoyed a once in a lifetime live performance by Queen Latifah with special guests: Lady of Rage, Lil Kim, MC Lyte, Missy Elliott and Yo-Yo. She performed music from her new album, “Persona,” in stores on July 7th.

Paris and her boyfriend, Doug Reinhardt, sat in the front row of the concert, snapping pictures!
