In the full interview, Hilary talks about her 2 perfumes, ‘With Love‘ and ‘Wrapped with Love‘ and says her third fragrance isn’t quite done yet. Hilary then talks about the importance of living her life and being true to herself no matter what is said or written about her. Then Hilary talks about sister Haylie, and how great it is to live so close to her and to her mom. Hilary shares a funny story of how she and Haylie gossip while posing on the red carpet.

Hilary talks about her return to television with NBC and about the benefits of having a regular life schedule again. Hilary says the process of meeting with NBC and going over ideas has been a lot of fun. Hilary says:

“I want a comedy. But I want it to have the heart of an hour drama. I think that could be interesting and a good place for me… something new for NBC too.”

Of course, the interview had to include some mention of Mike Comrie and they talk about how crazy the hockey game experience is. Hilary really enjoys the games and isn’t afraid to stand up for Mike if someone haggles him!

Hilary Duff talks about what her “stay at home date night” is like with Mike. Hilary, a confessed homebody, says she enjoys cooking, though she’s not that good yet. Mike is not as comfortable in the kitchen, and sometimes there are flames and smoke in the process!

The next topic was about Hilary’s experience walking the runway for the Heart Truth fashion show, admitting the dress she wore was designed just for her!

The first question was about Faye Dunaway, which we’d already seen, but it continues with more talk about The Story of Bonnie & Clyde. Hilary clarifies that it’s not a remake of the film in which Faye Dunaway stars, which sensationalized the true story of Bonnie & Clyde, but rather a film more close to the true facts. Hilary says she’s “sooo excited” about the film.

Another audience member asked Hilary what she would do if she had a day without the paparazzi following her around. Hilary constantly feels the pressure to make herself look good before leaving the house because the paparazzi are there! If she had a paparazzi-free day, she’d feel more comfortable to look messy and just walk her dogs or grocery shop like that.

Hilary Duff doesn’t know what she would say if she ever met Faye Dunaway. What Faye said (that Hilary wasn’t a ‘real’ actress) was hurtful and Hilary’s tired of taking the high road when people say bad things about her. She’s just not going to rise to the issue again, even though she already has!

In this segment, Hilary Duff is backstage at the Rachael Ray Show answering a few questions:

Hilary says her iPod is very eclectic, that she loves “everything from Beyonce to Morrissey” and Muse. She also talked about her friend’s Canadian band, City and Colour. And Hilary’s “star-struck moment” was meeting Shak, who is very tall (7′1″) compared to Hilary! She was nervous to meet him but really enjoyed it.

In the rest of the interview, Hilary Duff talks about going to watch boyfriend Mike Comrie for his hockey games (now on a new team!) and how into it she is now that she knows more about the game. Hilary says she likes to sit in the audience unnoticed – that if people notice her they start insulting Mike!

“They’ll be like ‘Mike sucks!’ Or try to rile me up And I’m like, ‘Hey, watch it! I’ll come up there, you know.’ I try to not be that crazy girlfriend.”
