Peter Gabriel is playing two shows at Radio City Music Hall on May 2 and 3. Ticket prices start at $54.50 and go all the way up to $199.50 and are on sale now. His new album, out in the US on March 2, and called Scratch My Back, is all covers, and includes his versions of “Heroes” by David Bowie, “Après moi” by Regina Spektor, and “My Body is a Cage” by Arcade Fire. Andrew Bird will be back in town to play Carnegie Hall which is pretty damn awesome. He’ll be there with Dosh on January 28 and tickets are on sale now.

NY Times Reports on McCarren; Yo La Tengo Playing Last Free Show
The New York Times has an article about the future of McCarren Park Pool…and how it seems like it will be turned back into a pool.
