Whoops: Kelly Ripa And Nick Lachey Dressed Up As Kim Kardashian And Kris Humphries For Their Halloween Special

For a special Halloween episode of Regis And Kelly today, the show’s hosts wore all manner of costumes, along with special guest Nick Lachey. As most of these costumes were timed somewhat cleverly with the news cycle, Snooki, The Situation, Katy Perry, Elmo, and the bride/groom combo of Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries all made appearances. Unfortunately, news broke earlier today that the Kardashian/Humphries coupling is finished (assuming it was ever actually real to begin with), rendering this particular costume a bit more topical than Regis and Kelly intended.

Seeing as the news just broke this morning and it probably took more than a few hours to plan out all those elaborate costumes, it’s probably just an unfortunate coincidence that Kim’s July marriage did not last past Halloween. But that doesn’t stop me from wanting to believe it was a subtle commentary on what huge assholes Kim Kardashian and her reality TV hangers-on are. Whether is was actually an accident or not (I want to believe), it’s nice to see a bit of subversion from those normally saccharine morning television hosts.

After over a decade of being able to do no wrong in the eyes of the media, Jennifer Aniston has finally slipped. While goofing around on Regis and Kelly this morning, trying to underplay that whole Harper’s Bazaar photo that’s recently surfaced of the actress looking not-her-best, the former Friend referred to herself as a “retard.” Whoops…unfortunately, unlike a lot of FCC-fined words, a lot of usually lax-language people get upset when someone uses that word in a negative connotation. Obviously Jennifer didn’t mean to offend anyone, but it’s like if she had called her stupid move “so gay.”

Video: Jordin Sparks Debuts ‘Breathe’ On ‘Regis and Kelly’

American Idol winner Jordin Sparks was on TV this morning promoting In the Heights, the Tony Award-winning musical that she’ll be debuting in tonight on Broadway. Jordin will be playing Nina Rosario, who is definitely a main character (sorry, In the Heights, I don’t know very much about you!) and proved that she’s gone to enough rehearsals by belting out Breathe on Regis and Kelly today.

Jessica Alba on Regis and Kelly (Part 1)

The ever growing Jessica Alba was on Regis and Kelly this morning and here is part 1 of the interview. In this part Jessica spoke about eating healthy, bot ‘pigging out’ and how Cash is coping with the situation. Jessica said the is in a ‘nesting state’ and it is really bizzare.

On Sundance, Jessica said that it was her first time out there, and that it was very hard to get in to movies as tickets needed to be booked over a month in advance.

PS. The interview is currently airing live in the west cost but a dedicated fan took the time to record it elsewhere and post it up.

Jessica Alba Confirms Broadway Rumors

While on REGIS & KELLY yesterday morning, Jessica Alba confirmed that she’s been contacted by Broadway officials for a shot at playing Karen in the upcoming Broadway revival of David Mamet’s Speed-the-Plow Jessica’s response was “I don’t know if audiences would even want to see me on Broadway.” So we don’t know, yet, if she’ll really be there.

Jessica made several comments recently about her wishes to develop her career and the way she is being viewed and such a role can help her to lead her career that way. Guess it would be a chance for us to know if those rumors were true or not.
