Zac Efron at Texas “Orson Welles” Premiere
Zac Efron was in Texas last night for a regional premiere of his newest movie, Me and Orson Welles, which opened in U.S. theaters last Wednesday.
Looking as handsome as always in a black leather jacket and black t-shirt, he posed for the cameras and signed a few autographs for waiting fans.

Zac Efron Appears on “Washington Unplugged”
Zac Efron and his “Me and Orson Welles” co-star Claire Danes and director Richard Linklater appeared on Washington Unplugged on CBS this weekend to talk about the movie.
Zac talks about how he’s breaking away from the High School Musical persona and is finding different ways to branch out and become a better actor. Claire also talks about how the role was a bit different than what she’s done before as well, and how she enjoyed working with Zac.

Zac Efron Lobbies at the White House
Zac Efron and his Me and Orson Welles co-star Claire Danes made an important stop this past Tuesday while they were in Washington, DC to promote the movie and attend the premiere.
Zac, Claire and director Richard Linklater made a visit to the White House where they appealed to the U.S. government for more arts funding in public schools.

‘Me and Orson Welles’ Gets A Release Date
Zac Efron’s long awaited movie, Me and Orson Welles, finally has a North America release date! The film, which co-stars Claire Danes and Christian McKay, will hit theaters November 25th, just in time for the Thanksgiving weekend.
Zac stars as Richard Samuels, a teenager cast in the Mercury Theatre production of “Julius Ceasar” directed by a young Orson Welles (McKay) in 1937.
