Today’s the first day of shooting The Avengers, Joss Whedon‘s superhero ensemble film that Iron Man and other Marvel movies of the past few years have been hinting at. Edward Norton is apparently not enough of a “team player” to continue working in the comic book movie industries, at least according to Marvel Studios, who decided not to have the Academy Award winner reprise his role as Bruce Banner after 2008s The Incredible Hulk. Instead, the new Avengers movie, in which all our favorite superheroes from the Marvel Universe team up, is finishing up the negotiations to have The Kids Are All Right star Mark Ruffalo in the role.
