Jay-Z had the concierge at his Atlantic City hotel calling local department stores in a quest to find his favorite brand of scented candle this weekend, we hear. HOVA apparently had to have his Diptyque candles so badly that the concierge was calling New Jersey department stores more than an hour and a half away.

Diddy Holds a Star-Studded Birthday Bash
Yesterday, Sean “Diddy” Combs held a huge birthday celebration at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. And the big names were there to help him celebrate.
The guest list was certainly impressive. I couldn’t possibly give you photos of all the celebrities that showed up, but some of the more notable ones were Kim Kardashian, Russell Simmons, Spike Lee, Regina King, Robin Thicke, Nelly, Martha Stewart (Who knew Martha was a hip-hop fan?), Al Sharpton, Herbie Hancock and Bono.
