Saleisha Stowers in Taco Bell Commercial

Saleisha Stowers, who won Cycle 9 of America’s Next Top Model is currently in a Taco Bell commercial. In the commercial, which is titled “It’s All About the Roosevelts”, a group of friends live the high life n the strip because thanks to Taco Bell, they have loads of money to spend. It then turns into a hip-hop music video parody.

Saleisha appears in the commercial at 1:40 during the dance-off in the parking lot. She’s the girl in red, eating a burrito.

While it’s great Saleisha is getting work, it’s hilarious she’s in a Taco Bell commercial. She’s come full circle – she got her career started in a Wendy’s commercial and that job caused a lot of controversy once she won ANTM.

Saleisha Stowers Named a Worst Reality TV Winner

Comcast has put together a list of the fifteen worst reality television show winners. On it? America’s Next Top Model Cycle 9 winner Saleisha Stowers.

Saleisha is joined by Shayna Lamas of The Bachelor, Amber Lake from Rock of Love, Tila Tequila for just everything she’s done, Jesse Csincsak from The Bachelorette, Darva Conger from Who Wants to Marry a Multi-Millionaire?, Taylor Hicks from American Idol, Vecepia Towery from Survivor: Marquesas, Jeffrey Sebelia from Project Runway, Ilan Hall from Top Chef, Mike ‘Boogie’ Malin from Big Brother, The Apprentice and every winner it has ever had, J.D. Fortune from Rock Star: INXS, Lucas Rossi from Rock Star: Supernova, and Zach and Flo from The Amazing Race.

Saleisha made the list for her general lack of popularity with fans, her boring, unmodelesque look, and the sketchy circumstances under which she won. The list isn’t in any particular order, which is too bad. It would have been fun to see them ranked!

I really don’t blame them for putting Saleisha on the list. My only question? Where’s Cycle 10 winner, on it?

Saleisha Stowers in Garage Clothing Spring/Summer 2009 Campaign

Saleisha Stowers is in Garage Clothing’s Spring/Summer 2009 campaign. She will appear in the catalogue and on their website (images here, here and here).

The shoot took place late last year in Puerto Rico. The video is little more than a musical montage of the various photo shoots, but it looks like a lot of fun.

Puerto Rico was the perfect place to go–it really gives the photos and this video the colorful, youthful vibe Garage was looking for.

Oxygen Celebrates the Launch of America’s Next Top Model

Last year, Oxygen acquired the exclusive cable rights to our favorite reality show, America’s Next Top Model. On January 18th, they are premiering America’s Next Top Model Obsessed, which will be a regular marathon of past ANTM seasons, complete with never-before-seen footage, interviews and more.

The promotional campaign will include several blasts from the past, including CariDee English (Winner, Season 7), Jaslene Gonzalez (Winner, Season 8), Saliesha Stowers (Winner, Season 9), Bianca Golden (Season 9), and Lisa D’Amato (Season 5).

On January 13, Oxygen held a launch party at Gotham Hall in New York City for this new endeavor. The festivities brought out loads of former ANTMers, including Jael Strauss (Cycle 8), Yoanna House (Winner, Cycle 2), Saleisha Stowers (Winner, Cycle 9), Jaslene Gonzalez (Winner, Cycle 8), Bre Scullark (Cycle 5), Dani Evans (Winner, Cycle 6), Rebecca Epley (Cycle 4), Whitney Thompson (Winner, Cycle 10), judges Nigel Barker and J Alexander, Tyra Banks, and a whole slew of stars.

Saleisha Stowers Models Holiday Dresses for Macy’s

Saleisha Stowers is on the Macy’s website, modeling a few dresses that are perfect for holiday parties.

First up is this bejeweled dress that’s currently on sale for $51.00. I like the empire waist and blue is a cute color for the holidays. I like that this dress doesn’t make Saleisha look too old. A lot of catalogue work tends to put younger models in older clothing and it just looks weird. I can see Saleisha actually wearing this dress and that’s important.

This minidress by Baby Phat (by ANTM Cycle 1 host Kimora Lee) would be a sexy and different choice. It’s only $39.99 and I like the wrap detail around the neckline. It’s available in purple of black.

I could totally see Sheena of Cycle 11 in this dress. Maybe because she reminds me of Kimora herself?

Finally, Saleisha models this two-tone halter dress. It’s on sale for $48.30. It would be a fun, flirty statement for the holidays. I like the bracelet the stylists paired it with.

Whitney Thompson and Saleisha Stowers are Lucky Shoppers

Whitney Thompson and Saleisha Stowers were on-hand to celebrate the 5th Annual Lucky Shopping Event at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City on November 6. Other celebrities included Leighton Meester and Jessica Szhor from Gossip Girl.

I’m glad Whitney got her roots fixed. But this peasant-inspired outfit isn’t very flattering. What do you think?

Saleisha Stowers in Pamella Roland Fashion Show

Yay! It’s after fashion week, but I finally got a hold of pictures from the NYC Fashion Shows. Cycle 9 winner Saleisha Stowers walked in Pamella Roland’s show on September 10 and wore three different looks.

While I thought she looked terrible back stage, she cleaned up pretty nicely for the runway. The blush is a bit too much, no? I’m not getting it.

I’m still not a Saleisha fan, but it’s always good to see an ANTM alumni get work!

Saleisha Stowers, winner of Cycle 9 of America’s Next Top Model was spotted backstage at the Pamella Roland fashion show on September 10 during New York Fashion Week.

Saleisha walked in the show, sporting three different looks. She wasn’t the only ANTM winner to walk during fashion week either. Jaslene Gonzalez walked in two shows and Dani Evans made an appearance in the Project Runway finale show.

Can I just say that Saleisha looks terrible in this photo? She’s exhausted and the outfit belongs at a mall, not fashion week. Oh well. I bet she rocked it on the runway.

Video: Saleisha Stowers for Billabong

Saleisha Stowers was in Billabong’s 2nd Annual Design for Humanity runway show. This is an event that showcases art, fashion and music to help the environment. All the proceeds to to the Surfrider Foundation, which protects beaches and other oceanfront ecosystems.

The fashion show starts at the 1:00 mark in the video. You can barely see Saleisha’s face in the vid, but it’s still a pretty big show, so good for her!

America’s Next Top Model Cycle 9 winner Saleisha Stowers was on-hand to support the show and her fellow Top Models at the Cw upfronts on Monday, May 13th.

I think Saleisha looks really cute here. I’m glad she grew that bob-thing Tyra gave her as a makeover though. In concept, it was a great idea, but in practice, it just looked weird.
