Sam Phillips Offers Free Holiday Song to Gilmore Girls Fans
As a part of Sam Phillips’ web-project, the Long Play, which we talked about here, Sam has released a new EP of holiday tunes. The EP, ‘Cold Dark Night’, contains 2 new songs as well as her renditions of classics like ‘Silent Night’ and ‘It Came Upon a Midnight Clear.’
One of the new tracks on this EP, ‘It Doesn’t Feel Like Christmas’, is being offered for FREE to crushable.com readers as a holiday gift!

Sam Phillips Launches “Long Play”
Sam Philips, the artist who wrote and scored music for Gilmore Girls, recently announced the release of a subscription-based service that will give fans a year’s worth of new music – 5 EPs and a full-length album, all digital and downloadable. The service, called the Long Play, launched in November and plans to release music along with bonus content all throughout the year.

As I mentioned previously, Sam Phillips, who wrote and scored music for Gilmore Girls, is putting out a new CD entitled "Don’t Do Anything" on June 3rd. Sam Phillips brought Stars Hollow to life and continues her career with this new CD, featuring electric and acoustic guitar and piano. This is the first CD that Sam Phillips has produced on her own.
