]]> Danny Gokey chose to sing “September” and I think it was a decent song choice and he definitely can sing but it did lack originality.  I think that if he’s going to continue to do well in this competition, he’s going to have to get more creative.

Randy said that he turned the song into something that works for him.  Kara said she was worried about what he would do for Disco Week but said that his pitch is so right on.   Paula said that Danny has one of the sexiest voices she’s ever heard.  Simon said it was not a star-worthy performance because it was good but not special.
