Angelina Jolie can have her cake and eat it too
All work and no play is no fun for anyone, so during a break in the filming of Salt today, everyone celebrated a crew member’s birthday by busting out a nice chocolate cake.
Angelina Jolie was spotted eating her cake with her handcuffs still dangling from one wrist. I guess she was planning to get right back into character again – either that or someone lost the key!

Angelina Jolie is back to work in New York
Fresh from her quick visit to the Cannes Film Festival with Brad Pitt, on Saturday Angelina Jolie was back to work on the set of Salt, filming a scene with her black wig and trench coat.
Some of the scenes were set up for a police chase so it sounds like it was another exciting day on set!

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were both seen in New York City today although they were both busy with their own schedules.
Brad was spotted doing some shopping judging by the large box that he was carrying as he returned from his outing. A gift for Angelina or something for himself perhaps?

Angelina Jolie films high speed truck scene in Albany
Angelina Jolie was photographed in Albany, and was having a very relaxing weekend – hanging on to the top of a truck while filming a high speed truck scene!
Angie (also seen with her stunt double), appears to have climbed up (or dropped down!) onto the top of a large blue truck and is seen tethered for safety as the truck moves.

Angelina Jolie was spotted today as she walked to the set of Salt in New York City. She was dressed in a black lacy dress and a black trench coat.
Angelina was also carrying a book with her, probably to fill in the long waiting times that come with filming. She likely gets plenty of opportunities to read while having her hair done or in between scenes. The book in question is not light reading, that’s for sure… More »

With all the photos of Angelina Jolie dressed in furs on the set of Salt people were wondering if it was real or fake fur. I was waiting for PETA to pounce because they’ve always been very outspoken about denouncing any celebrity wearing real fur for any reason (just ask Jennifer Lopez who has come under fire on many occasions!).

There are some new – albeit fuzzy – photos of Angelina Jolie on the set of Salt, wearing the same grey, fur-trimmed poncho and matching Russian-style hat that she wore the other day. She’s seen on a boat and in a boatyard with what appears to be an awful lot of rubble.

Everyone has been wondering where Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are these days since they’ve been keeping out of the spotlight for awhile. They manage to do this from time to time, and I sort of think this may show some truth to the story that they had rented a house in Long Island, because if they had a nice, private yard then the kids could run and play without the family having to go out among the cameras… More »
A few shots of Angelina Jolie working over the weekend
Angelina Jolie was filming some extra footage for Salt over the weekend, although it wasn’t for a new scene. She was still wearing the long, dark wig and the dusty trench coat for the scene where Evelyn is arrested.
However, since PittWatch readers love seeing photos of Angelina in action here are a few particularly nice shots that demonstrate just how much this wig suits her. It’s a good way to kick off a Monday morning, isn’t it?

Angelina Jolie arrested on set
Not long ago we saw photos of Angelina Jolie in a dark wig on set for Salt. It was generally agreed that her character, Evelyn Salt, was likely trying to be inconspicuous, attempting to hide amongst the crowd. It looks like it didn’t work, because now there are photos of Angelina being arrested, and taken away in handcuffs while filming the continuation of her scene.

Angelina Jolie goes undercover with a dark wig
Angelina Jolie has ditched the blond wig – for now – and gone back to the darker hair for her role as Evelyn Salt. She was seen in another street scene in New York City with a dark wig and a matching dark trench coat. It’s hard to tell what’s going on – there’s a large crowd and some police officers.

It looks like New York City is colder than Washington DC was – Angelina Jolie was seen bundling up in her warm North Face jacket (the one she wore the last time she visited the Big Apple) in between takes out on the streets.
