]]> Interesting news for ABDC fan’s. With the start of Season Five just around the corner, I got word that R&B star Omarion will be joining the show as the newest judge alongside Lil Mama and JC Chasez. In previous seasons choreographer Shane Sparks was the third judge but he’s recently been hit with some pretty serious child molestation charges.

Anyhow, check out the preview for Season Five below.

Season Five of America’s Best Dance Crew and premieres on Thursday, January 28th at 10pm ET/PT on MTV, with Season Two of Taking The Stage airing immediately afterward at 11pm ET/PT.

According to MTV.com:

Los Angeles police arrested “America’s Best Dance Crew” judge Shane Sparks (born Melvin Shane Sparks), Friday morning (December 18) on a felony warrant and charged him with eight counts of felony child molestation. He is being held on $590,000 bail.

According to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, Sparks was taken into custody at around 8 a.m. PT on Friday on a felony warrant charging him with molestation that began in 1993 and allegedly continued until 1997.
