]]> Kris Allen surprised me by choosing “She Works Hard for the Money” but his options were really limited considering it was Disco Week.  I loved the arrangement he came up with.  I loved how the bass came in a little later.  It was really awesome.  He’s really proving himself week after week.

Kara told him that he took a real risk with that arrangement and that it paid off big time.  Paula said that it had a classy Santana feel to it and then gave him a weird compliment that I could never repeat.  Simon said it was original, well thought out and not karaoke and that it was a fantastic performance.  Randy said that Kris knows who he is and has proven that he is ready for the big time.
