Last week geared us up for the new seasons of Jersey Shore and Mad Men with the constant rumors about some of the stars of the show, though we spent most of the time thinking about Lindsay Lohan in jail and vampires. D’uh. What else? Oh, Olivia Munn says hey. Here’s some of our favorite posts from last week.

Entertainment:

• We took you behind the scenes of The Bachelor’s auditioning process, and it wasn’t pretty.

• Does Leonardo DiCaprio look like a certain Family Guy character?

• We were worried that the Jersey Shore cast was going to play hardball with their negotiations and get kicked off, but luckily The Situation relented and the rest followed suit.

• Ice-T pulled a Mel Gibson and cussed out his arresting officer…on Twitter.

Quitting Smoking: Not As Super Fun (Or Hard) As You Might Think

Earlier this week, I wrote a post for our sister site Blisstree.com about a plan called EX that was hopefully going to get me to quit my half-pack a day habit. It’s not that I particularly woke up one morning and felt the need to get healthy, but with the cigarette tax making me pay $12 every two days sort of unfeasible (combined with the fact that smoking in New York’s summer is like breathing fire), I couldn’t really sustain what had started out as a “social” only activity.

So how did I do on my first week? Well, I learned all about my particular triggers (what makes me want to smoke), along with my routines (the patterns of when I smoke). And as corny as it sounds, even having that little bit of self-awareness and trying to change up my habits a little bit made a huge difference. So far I’ve cut pack from 10 cigarettes a day to approximately 3-4 (though I slipped last night after drinking with some friends and ended up with a tally of 6 total).

I also found out that I don’t like to take advice like “eat healthy snacks” or “go for a run” as an alternative to smoking: I’d rather sit by the computer and eat half a bag of Werther’s Originals a day while quietly hating everything. But you know, nobody’s perfect. And only a week left before I’m smoke-free, apparently! That is, if I don’t kill everyone first. Lindsay was wearing all black from head to toe – with her leather black jacket, black leggings and knee-high black boots.

Lindsay Lohan was spotted partying earlier this weekend in Paris, France before the big Ungaro fashion show on Sunday. A few days ago, I uploaded a few photos from that night, but the photos of Lindsay were very grainy. These are better quality.

Lindsay arrived at the party wearing a black trenchcoat and a cool brown hat. At the party, she took the coat off to reveal a black and silver glittery sleeveless top and very black shorts. In the photos, she smokes and appears to be having a good time hanging out.

Among the celebrities at the event which was held at the VIP Room in Paris was Busta Rhymes.
