‘So You Think You Can Dance’ Auditions Hit LA, Chicago
For the second episode of So You Think You Can Dance’s seventh season, the auditions moved to Los Angeles and Chicago, after hitting New York and Miami last week.
First stop, L.A., where the show has found lots of talent in past seasons, including this season’s All Star Dominic Sandoval. Judges Nigel Lythgoe, Adam Shankman and hip hop choreographer Hi Hat managed to find some talent there, although mostly women were highlighted — like rhythmic gymnast Rachel Girma and Mia Michaels… More »
So You Think You Can Dance choreographer pleads not guilty — Alex da Silva pled not guilty to charges of rape in an L.A. court today. He faces eight felony charges, including four counts of forcible rape, two counts of assault with intent to commit rape and two counts of sexual penetration by a foreign object for assaults to dancers who met him through his dance classes. ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ Returns With New York, Miami Auditions

Twitch Named First ‘SYTYCD’ All Star
Yesterday exec producer Nigel Lythgoe revealed many changes coming to So You Think You Can Dance’s upcoming season. Namely, there’s the addition of a pool of “All Stars” from previous seasons. Nigel promised to reveal the all stars one by one on his Twitter feed.
