According to the Scotsman, the Inspiring Women poll of 1,000 women aged over 18 found that JK Rowling is the most inspirational. The Queen, Dame Judi Dench and Margaret Thatcher took second, third and fourth spots respectively. Oh,and I thought you might want to know that Britney Spears didn’t even place – tee hee!

JK Rowling will be attending the G20 Summit

According to The Times Online, JK Rowling will be attending the G20 Summit at a luncheon where other celebs will be in attendance, such as Michelle Obama (she’s sitting right next to JK!), Kelly Holmes (Olympian gold medalist), and Naomi Campbell, who I’m not sure why is being included. The small cafe where a single mother living on welfare wrote the book that would literally change the landscape of literature is up for sale.
The cafe is now a Chinese restaurant, and the owner offered it first to JK Rowling (she turned it down). Here’s what he had to say about what he hopes will happen:

Harry Potter places 41st in “Hot Guys” contest
Daniel Radcliffe came in 41st place in the UK Cosmo Girl’s 101 Hottest Guys Poll, besting the likes of Heath Ledger and Jared Padalecki.
Okay, I love Daniel just as much as anyone, but beating Heath Ledger?!?!?!?!?!? Is everyone caught in a time warp thingy that I wasn’t aware of?
