Hey parents, have you heard that your kids are drinking caffeinated alcoholic malt beverages again? This time its coming in the form of Four Loko, and sweeping campuses across the nation after being created by three Oho college students. It’s either delicious or disgusting, depending on which over-stimulated teen you ask, but it’s also very dangerous. Or at least, so says the attorney state general of Washington, after nine students were hospitalized after drinking the beverage. Though technically, it is not a date-rape drug, so that’s good. After being crowned the American Idol winner, Jordin Sparks sat down with People magazine for a cute little interview. Jordin fans will love it!
Have you gotten your driver’s license? And are you a good driver? Yeah, I have my driver’s license. I actually got it July of last year, so it was about before I went and auditioned. So, I’m ok, I haven’t gotten any tickets or anything yet. I’m all right.
How did you do on your driver’s test?

So many of you have written in to ask if I saw Melinda Doolittle’s face during Jordin Sparks’ performance. I did but I did not have a screenshot of it. TallFreak has graciously provided me with one. It is priceless. Melinda’s probably just concentrating on what Jordin’s doing but I cracked up last night. In this shot, even Chris Richardson looks a little taken-aback but he is a Blake Lewis fan, so it’s understandable.
Thanks, Tall… More »
Ugh, this just gets worse by the second. I cannot even keep up with it all. American Idol did something new this year by asking America to vote for the best “finale song” which was to be written by “undiscovered songwriters.” Well, my friends, the song that seemed written for Jordin does not seem to be the work of amateurs. Here’s what Reality TV magazine uncovered:
“‘This Is My Now’ was written by Seattle songwriters Scott Krippayne… More »
I was happy to read this interview with American Idol judge Simon Cowell because it pretty much sums up how I have been feeling. I have no idea who will win this and neither does he! He told People magazine that he thinks “they both have different strengths. One’s a better entertainer and one’s a better singer, so I think it will be down to what they do on the night.”
On Finale Predictions “I think they will… More »
Okay. I have no opinion about this either way so let’s just get that out of the way first. Second, I think that Jordin Sparks is a talented girl and a worthy contestant on American Idol. That said, I have wondered in the past how she has remained on the show after certain performances (like Bon Jovi week, ugh) but I am in no way, shape or form suggesting that this is the reason for Jordin’s votes…. Well, one thing is for sure, Jordin Sparks is loved in her hometown of Glendale, Arizona. She greeted more than 1,000 of her former classmates at Sandra Day O’Connor High School by saying “Hey guys, did you miss me?” Throughout the day, Jordin was treated like a star with over 5,000 people showing up at Glendale’s Westgate City Center to hear Jordin sing “Give Me One Reason,” “Heart Breaker” and “I Who Have Nothing.” American Idol… More »
