Ever since Inception came out, it’s been a trend to Inception-ize the most common, everyday things: Cats, My Little Ponies… and now wedding receptions. The Mary Sue recommends that you watch this video at least until the 1:30 mark. They are absolutely correct. And before you ask, yes, this IS from someones ACTUAL WEDDING RECEPTION. Furthermore, they did, in fact, arrive by helicopter. Just make sure to keep an eye on that spinning top– or ring, as the case may be

“It’s so complex and cool!” Last night’s ep of South Park tried to explain the logic behind Chris Nolan‘s summer blockbuster — with Taco Bell references, football players and firemen, of course. We wonder how many dream levels it took to think this one up.

Last week, our sister site asked if this video of a Vanderbilt Carrie Bradshaw-esue lady extolling on the virtues of foreign men could possibly be real, or be a viral video. We did our research, and unless Katherine Chloe Cahoon is someone’s brilliant performance art character, we’re going with real. Oh, and she has more videos!

So how do we know that Katherine here isn’t some UCB performer’s idea of a funny joke? Yesterday, comedian Max Silvestri put up a tweet saying, “I read a blog interview with an author today where ‘What is your favorite sesaon’ was a follow up to ‘What is your favorite snack food?’” That would be a blog called The Reading Room, asking Katherine the hard-hitting questions. Like:

Do you get time to read? What are your favorite types of books to read?
I try to find time to read. Honestly, I love a variety of books from The Catcher in the Rye which mostly appeals to my guy friends, to very girl-centric classics like Gone with the Wind.

What is your favorite room in your house?
I know it sounds bad, but I would have to say the kitchen. I LOVE to eat!!

If Katherine and her Single Ladies Guide to Meeting European Gentlemen is a joke, it is a very elaborate one. If not, god help us all. (I’m buying my copy this week.)

Chris Klein Proves To Be Viral Marketing Genius For Himself…Or Is He?

Well we called it, right? Chris Klein‘s bombing of the Mamma Mia audition that circulated the Internet last week turned out to be a hoax. Maybe? Today, FunnyOrDie “uncovered” the rest of Klein’s audition reel of current films, and of course they are played for maximum LOLs. Look, he wants to be in McGruber! And Avatar! He loves to talk about Jeff Goldblum and wants Bill Paxton to be his dad! So, do we buy that Klein was in on the joke, or is this an attempt to save face?

Still though, we’re not convinced that Klein’s first audition leak wasn’t sincere. It could be that this is his attempt to save face (and make a comeback as someone other than a viral joke). Here’s the original again:

He looks to have the same hair length as in the original video (which would be the dead giveaway), which means that the Mamma Mia audition was some viral marketing leading up to this FOD video which is selling…Chris Klein? As a comedic actor? We don’t know, something about this just tastes funny — maybe because we liked the mystery of not knowing what the hell was going on better than we do the big reveal that it was, like we said, some Apatow-esque comeback. Or, in this case, the FOD team. The short was directed by the same woman — who goes by ‘Lauren’ on the site — who did the Tiffani Amber Thiessen comedy vid, and PR for Harold and Kumar so she’s obviously worked with has-beens and viral campaigns before.

A fan has put together a fun cartoon spoof video. The video features Ashley Tisdale and Hilary Duff outside a movie studio. The description of the video reads: “Ashley Tisdale sees Hilary Duff outside of the movie studio and decides to say hi. But Hilary sees right though her and things turn into a big mess quickly.”

Hilary Duff Featured in ‘Where My Dogs At’

Where My Dogs At was an animated program created by Aaron Matthew Lee and Jeffrey Ross that aired on MTV2. The show revolved around Buddy, a beagle separated from his 10-year-old owner and Woof, a large bulldog who runs away from his owner. Both canines try to survive in the streets of Hollywood and run in to several celebrities along the way!

In the episode Woofie Loves Snoop, Snoop Dogg takes in Buddy and Woof and they become part of the yard war between Snoop Dogg and Hilary Duff.
