Hilary Duff admitted to being a big fan of Gossip Girl, with her favorite character being Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick), which is more of an unusual choice!

“I don’t know why, because he’s so bad and terrible. He is so sad that I feel bad for him.”

Hilary talked a little more about her deal with NBC for her new show.

“It’s exciting. I’ve been meeting with writers. I’m ready to get back on TV.”

Hilary Duff will co-host the charity event with Mandy Moore. The event will celebrate the launch of a collection of celebrity-designed holiday merchandise, to benefit Stand Up to Cancer. The event will be held at the Robertson Boulevard Kitson store, where the merchandise will be available for sale. Many of the celebrity designed pieces feature a star, which is a symbol for the Stand Up To Cancer Constellation – a feature of their website where you can launch a star for anyone you know with cancer.

Hilary was not attached to the event on December 2nd, but it now looks like she either replaced Dave Annable as co-host or is a 3rd co-host. To date, Stand Up To Cancer has raised over $100 million for cancer research programs.

“Today’s cancer scientists are on the verge of life-saving discoveries, but they desperately need the funds to mount an all-out assault. The money raised from the sale of these beautiful items will go directly to funding these important research programs. Together we will defeat this insidious disease.”
