It finally started to cool off this week in New York, and I’ve got to tell you, I am SO HAPPY ABOUT THIS. Fall is my absolute favorite season, and the past couple of years, I’ve felt cheated out of it. For some reason (read: global warming), the seasons have gotten into the habit of from summer right to the dead of winter, forgoing the standard stop at autumn in between. ANYWAY, one of the best things about it starting to get fall-like is that it’s finally time for– you guessed it– seasonal Starbucks beverages! I know, I know– they’re terrible for you. Comedian Brody Stevens Livetweets a Manic Breakdown, Nearly Gets Arrested
Something strange has been going on with comedian Brody Stevens these past few days: he appears to be live-tweeting a mental breakdown that has become so intense as to warrant police intervention. If you don’t know who Brody Stevens is, he’s a talented comedian who has appeared in both Hangover films as well as Sarah Silverman’s Jesus Is Magic. Last week, he received some attention when he took over hosting duties for the show TMZ on TV, and yesterday he was handcuffed and nearly arrested after an altercation at a Los Angeles Starbucks. Don’t Get On a New Yorker’s Nerves Before They’ve Had Her Coffee – An English professor had to be forcibly removed from Starbucks after she almost throttled a barista. Apparently the employee asked her if she would like cream cheese or butter on her bagel after the woman expressly told her she wanted her multigrain plain. Maybe she should just switch to decaf. Christian Siriano Now Selling Sponges
We’d make fun Project Runway’s most famous alum, the twee hipster Christian Siriano for “selling out” and shilling for some sponge company called O-Cel-O (enter their sweepstakes and win a chance to be his guest for Spring’s 2011 Fashion Week!), but peeps have to get paid, and that Payless/Target/Starbucks ca$h isn’t going to last forever.

What Does Your Favorite Ice Cream Flavor Say About You?
Starbucks has debuted three new non-coffee ice cream flavors and has come up with an ingenious way of marketing them. The coffee shop chain is searching to find out what your favorite flavor of its newest offerings — Vanilla Bean Frappuccino, Signature Hot Chocolate and Strawberries & Crème Frappuccino — says about you, and they’ve done actual research to prove their points.
