The official trailer for the movie, Stay Cool, starring Hilary Duff has now been released! The movie is about author Henry McCarthy (Mark Polish) who returns to his hometown and delivers a commencement speech to a class of graduating high school students. More “Stay Cool” Reviews
After the Tribeca Film Festival premiere for Stay Cool, reviews have been slowly building up in addition to those I already posted.
Variety calls Stay Cool “rather likable”, saying of most main characters (Hilary included) that they ended up being rather “one-note”, though they loved the sidekicks more. The Manhattan Movie Magazine gives the film kudos for the “wry, observational small-town humor,” though they did feel the plot was a little contrived.

Hilary Duff Talks about the 80s
Hilary Duff was recently in New York for the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of her movie, Stay Cool. The movie has an 80s vibe to it, something that reflects the high school experiences of the Polish Brothers, who created the film. However, unlike her co-stars, Hilary doesn’t have that much experience with the 80s! Being born in 1987 means Hilary is too young to remember it ;)

“Stay Cool” To Premiere at Tribeca
Hilary Duff’s upcoming movie Stay Cool now has a release date! The movie will premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, the same festival where War, Inc premiered last year.

The musician behind the soundtrack for Hilary Duff’s upcoming movie Stay Cool has posted some song previews! Kubilay Uner describes his work on the soundtrack as a “full-on 80s post-punk/pop score” with 80s guitars, drums, synths and other 80s-inspired production techniques. Why? Because Stay Cool pays homage to the 1980s!

Entertainment Tonight is going to air a segment where they visit the set of Stay Cool, the new comedy movie starring Hilary Duff, Chevy Chase, and Mark and Michael Polish. Hilary Duff will be doing an interview as part of the segment.
