Apparently Entertainment Weekly sat out to discover the “20 worst cover songs ever” and Jessica Simpson made their list. Twice.
Web site users deemed her covers of Berlin’s “Take My Breath Away” and Robbie Williams’ “Angel” as two of the twenty worst cover songs ever, in their opinion.
Although, despite having her covers lampooned, she shares the lists with music heavyweights including Madonna (for her cover of “American Pie”), Whitney Houston (“I Will Always Love You”) and Celine Dion (?).
