Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore on Gilmore Girls) and her Post Grad co-star Zach Gilford presented an award last night at the Teen Choice Awards. They co-presented the “Choice Summer TV Star: Female” award, which was won by Princess Protection Program star Selena Gomez:

According to JustJared, Alexis’ dress was from Opening Ceremony and the shoes were Loeffler Randall. Update: here’s some video!

Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore on Gilmore Girls) appeared last night at the Teen Choice Awards, where she was a presenter as well as a nominee. Alexis Bledel’s movie, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 was up for “Choice Movie: Romance”, though it did not win (Twilight did).

Alexis is seen in some of these photos with her Post Grad co-star Zach Gilford.

Teen Choice Award Winners 2009

Of all the Gilmore Girls actors up for Teen Choice Awards, only a handful of them walked away this year as winners. The nominees were:

Alexis Bledel (Rory) for The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2
Rob Estes (Jimmy) for 90210
Billy Burke (Alex) for Twilight
Jared Padalecki (Dean) for Friday the 13th
Milo Ventimiglia (Jess) for Heroes
Arielle Kebbel (Lindsay) for The Uninvited
Krysten Ritter (Lucy) for Confessions of a Shopaholic

The winners were:

Jared Padalecki’s Friday the 13th took home the award for “Choice Movie: Horror / Thriller”

Milo Ventimiglia’s Heroes took home “Choice TV Show: Action Adventure.”

Billy Burke’s Twilight took home 11 awards, including “Choice Movie: Drama:” and “Choice Movie: Romance.”

Alexis Bledel to appear at Teen Choice Awards

It has just been announced that Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore) has joined the list of actors and actresses to make an appearance at this year’s Teen Choice Awards. The Teen Choice Awards will air on August 10th on FOX at 8pm ET/PT.

Alexis Bledel’s movie, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 is up for “Choice Movie: Romance” at the Teen Choice Awards. Alexis Bledel herself is announced as a “participant” in the awards, possible giving out one of the surfboard prizes.

It’s great to hear that not only is Alexis up for an award herself, but she’ll be taking back center stage a bit. Can’t wait to see what she chooses to wear!

Alexis Bledel’s The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 is up for “Choice Movie: Romance”. The other contenders are: Australia, Confessions of a Shopaholic (with Krysten Ritter), He’s Just Not That Into You and Twilight (with Billy Burke). Twilight is up for a number of other awards too, as you’d expect!

Also up for an award this year is Friday the 13th, with Jared Padalecki. The movie goes up against Arielle Kebbel’s The Uninvited for “Choice Movie: Horror/Thriller”.

In the television category, Heroes (with Milo Ventimiglia) is up for “Choice TV Show: Action Adventure), and Milo himself is up for “Choice TV Actor: Action Adventure” for his Heroes role. Moving on, Rob Estes is up for “Choice TV: Parental Unit” for his role on 90210.
