Pantsless celebrities: It’s a time-honored tradition a la hospital stays to recover from dehydration and Proactiv commercials. Lauren Conrad‘s the latest addition to the ranks of the no-pants gang (very menacing, plus motorcycles) with this sheer ensemble that nearly qualifies as public nudity. I like her shoes, though?

Upon first sitting down to watch MTV’s Teen Wolf, I decided instantly that the best thing about the show was Stiles, the wolfkid’s best friend and sidekick. Stiles is played by newcomer Dylan O’Brien, an adorable and super charismatic actor. So what’s the deal with this talented youngster we can’t wait to see in more things? Here are five things to know about Dylan: More »
This week on Chloe King, in the episode “Dogs of War,” we discover a new species that Chloe may or may not be able to make out with, find someone she can definitely make out with, and see her approve her mother’s new beau for make out privileges. The show also shows off its mad skills at keeping storylines consistent, which is something important in every TV series, because how frustrating is it when people on television don’t act consistently? However, some things did pop out of the blue, or at least with not that much layover from “nothing” to “NEW PLOT TWIST OMG.” More »
We’ve known that Discovery was smart about pop culture when it picked up Sarah Palin’s Alaska last year, and even before now the network has jazzed up its annual Shark Week with celebrity promos and cult movies. But I have to raise a glass to this year’s ad, which sets fearsome shots of dead-eyed sharks chomping on boats and people to Lady Gaga‘s single “Show Me Your Teeth.” More »
Poor Teen Wolf is under so much stress. Every day he has to deal with how to keep his secret, how to lead his lacrosse team to victory, and how to stop himself from eating his girlfriend. His real problem isn’t his wolfish tendencies, it’s his school. There are special academies for kids who are into the arts, smart kids, and delinquents, so surely there should be one for kids who grow up to get their own monster movies and shows. More »
MTV’s new show Teen Wolf premiered after the Movie Awards last night, and we got a look at the show’s star, Tyler Posey. He’s been called the next Taylor Lautner, so you might want to keep your eye on this hot up-and-comer. Here are five things to know about the werewolf of an actor: More »
MTV’s got a Teen Wolf reboot coming our way this June! The series will introduce us to an amply-abbed lacrosse playing teenager who turns into a wolf every full moon. Sounds awesome, right? Except show’s tagline isn’t doing it any favors.
“Love. Be afraid.” What does that even mean, exactly? Is it innuendo? It doesn’t seem like innuendo. Love is scary, even if you’re involved with a non-wolf-part human! So that said, here are 10 taglines better than the one MTV chose: More »
Teen Wolf has been in our hearts since it first came out in 1985. With Michael J. Fox in the lead role fresh off Back to the Future, we knew that this was gonna be a classic. The movie we remember was funny, teen-friendly and not gruesome. Just a kid with an everyday problem, that problem being … he’s a wolf. MTV has now decided to have a go at the classic, and it looks downright horrible. More »

Don’t call them emo, call them “Team Jacob.” San Antonio high school students, sick of all this Anne Rice, mopey-vampire b.s., have started obsessing over a new imaginary creature: the werewolf. Which actually makes a lot more sense for high schoolers anyhow: According to facts (or what I learned from Teen Wolf), being a werewolf makes you popular, good at sports, and attractive to the opposite sex. So basically, being a lycanthrope is like role-playing being a jock, except you… More »
I really hope this one’s just a rumor but time will tell!
Warner Brothers, who recently bought the rights to the movie, are apparently set on remaking the 1985 classic Teen Wolf, which originally starred Michael J. Fox as a teenager who discovers he’s a werewolf.
Guess who’s being discussed for the lead role? Zac Efron’s name has been tossed around on several other sites now, though there’s no telling what WB has in mind just yet.
It’s still a ways off,… More »
