ABC announced the casting on Monday night’s  Bachelor finale, wherein pilot Jake Pavelka picked polarizing Vienna to be his bride; in previous weeks, Ali had been a frontrunner but was forced to give up her Jake fantasies and return to her job in ad/sales at Facebook. She walked out, breaking Jake’s heart. Too bad it belonged more so to Vienna — zing!

Not to sink to Ali’s levels of cattiness. But there is just something so nefarious about her that we can’t put our finger on: Maybe it was that time she trashed Vienna within earshot of Jake and everyone else, talking smack to the effect of: “I can’t believe she’s still here. How can he like HER and me at the same time? We’re NOTHING alike.”

That’s right, Ali. You and Vienna are nothing alike: Vienna has a sense of humor.

OK then! Allow us to say something nice about Ali: We love to hate her, and we think she’ll make great TV. We’re genuinely interested in watching her love drama unfold and seeing who’ll be the last man standing. According to Ali, she is looking for someone smart, funny and kind of quirky. Aren’t we all.

Any celebrity suggestions? Mark Zuckerberg, taken. Justin Long, taken. Justin Timberlake, taken. Perhaps The Old Spice Guy, who stars in the lone commercial we don’t fast-forward through.

Said Ali:

Looks like Ali is choosing her career (she works in ad sales at Facebook) over finding a potential mate on a reality television show. If we actually believed her we would say bravo, but we have a feeling that Ali might resurface as the next Bachelorette any way, no matter what coy game playing right now. Or maybe that’s just wishful thinking on our part since we don’t want to be stuck with Tenley.

Originally I was a true fan of Jesse and Jake. They were given the boot early on thought so I quickly found a new love for Reid once he started opening up. Once he relaxed you were really able to see what a nice and genuine guy Reid was and I feel bad for him because Jillian gave quite a hard time about him not being able to express himself. All she had to do though is look into his eyes and she would have seen what he felt was true.

In any event, once Reid was not given a rose and had to leave, there was only really one guy that overall made sense and that was Ed. Really, it was Ed all along and even though I had my other favorites, once I saw the hidden clips of Ed when drunk, he took the cake. Not because I saw him drunk and I like my men drunk, the opposite. However, he was an adorable drunk and it made you really see the child inside Ed and what a relaxed, fun-loving, cute and calm guy he was. He was there to find love, and he found it fair and square.

Yes there was the fact that Ed left early on in the season because he had to go back to work, but I think he had to do that to realize how into Jillian he was. Had he chosen to stay in the game, I don’t think he would have fully committed and put everything into it like he did once he was back. I think Ed’s escape back to work helped Jillian and Ed be together in the end.

Jillian picked the right guy, and I have a feeling they will last. I hope so anyway. This is the first time in a long while where there has actually been a proposal at the final rose ceremony that has at least lasted till it was shown on television. Ed is smart, funny, handsome, well balanced guy and I don’t think there is any ounce of him that will think twice about what has happened and what has gone on.

So what now? Well last night, they were finally allowed to be seen in public after the final rose ceremony. Check out some pics from GossipCenter of how the happy couple enjoyed each others company for the first time in public, and finally allowing to share their excitement and laughs with one another.

Apparently so. Molly and Jason are still going strong according to PEOPLE. No set date for a wedding as yet but they did say that they absolutely will get married one day. At the moment they are still doing the whole long distance thing and Molly is planning on moving closer to Seattle where Jason and his 4 year old son Ty lives. Molly is getting along great with Ty and when she visits they spend their time playing and talk on the phone when she is away. I felt so bad for Ty during the whole taping of the Bachelor. He must have not know what was going on and to be honest I find it a little cruel that they brought a kid into it as much as the show did. Can you imagine growing up and being like 21 and telling your friends that you were on the Bachelor and that you have the video tapes to prove it? Wait, not video tapes, DVD now a days…

So the happy couple is still together, we will see what happens when Molly makes her move. Melissa has moved on and announced just last Monday that she is engaged as well. I’m happy for her! Everyone else has moved onto the next seasons Bachelorette with Jillian. Tonight are the over night dates – can’t wait!

The Premier was last night and instead of Jillian meeting 25 guys, there was a surprise visit from 5 other guys towards the end of the night. Now instead of Jillian saying good bye to 5 Bachelors, she had to dismiss 10! Only 20 roses to give out, and 30 good looking men stood in fear as she called each name one by one.

I always have a hard time watching the premiere because you don’t really know anyone yet and don’t get the proper vibe of who’s who yet. Of course I saw some that I enjoyed looking at but not enough to figure out personality yet. It always takes about the first 3 episodes for the contestants to relax and be themselves. That’s why I feel like they shouldn’t have a first impression rose on the first episode. I guess it makes sense but also kind of harsh to make you pick 1 out of 30 when you are first trying to get used to everything in the first place. It’s a big deal!

David was the one who got the first impression rose last night. A 27 year old trucking contractor from Dayton, OH. He seemed very flattered to be chosen but of course anyone would have been! Curious to see how this season plays out and looking forward to getting to know the guys more so I can make my own decision. I saw some up coming scenes and it looks like they have some good dates coming up! Can’t wait!

I’m such a sucker for ABC’s Bachelor and Bachelorette…

Trista admitted a while back that it took them a long time to get pregnant so it made her dream to be a mom that much sweeter. Her and Ryan are now the parents of a son Maxwell who would be 2 now, and new baby born Blakesley.

I wish them all the best – although Trista annoyed me sometimes with her wining…they are still my favorite Bachelorette couple!
