“The Bridget Show” Dead?
Lauren Graham’s new ABC pilot, The Bridget Show, also known as Let it Go, may be dead in the water.
The pilot episode was screening to critics during upfront week. Variety said last week that Let it Go had “mixed reviews but shouldn’t be counted out.” However, this week their insider says that Lauren Graham’s comedy pilot at ABC is “believed to be dead”. They continue:

“The Bridget Show” Screening
It’s time for the Fall upfronts, with networks previewing their new pilots for the eager press. Among those, Lauren Graham’s new ABC comedy pilot, The Bridget Show, will be shown and is listed as “promising”. Probably we’ll hear a lot more about this screening during the week!

Holly Robinson Peete, who co-stars with Lauren Graham on her new pilot ABC comedy The Bridget Show, recently spoke with the media about shooting the pilot.
Holly Robinson Peete stars in The Bridget Show a guest therapist on Bridget’s (Lauren Graham) talk show who takes over the show when Bridget leaves to pursue her romance (which falls apart 5 years later). At this time, Holly’s character has become a “daytime maven”, I’m assuming someone like Oprah.

Lauren Graham will be making an appearance on the new Late Night with Jimmy Falon show on NBC on Saturday, April 4th (I’ve also read April 3rd). There’s no word yet on what she’ll be promoting.

After news recently of Lucy Davis joining the cast of Lauren Graham’s new ABC pilot comedy, The Bridget Show (previously Let It Go), more casting news has been announced.
Holly Robinson Peete (Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper) and Josh Braaten (Less than Perfect) have also signed on to co-star with Lauren Graham in The Bridget Show.
