Spoon, Jay-Z, The Allman Brothers, and More On Sale Now
It’s Friday so that means tickets are going on sale! Lots of bands have new albums coming out, so that means they are going on tour: Kings of Convenience, Midlake, Yoko Ono’s We Are Plastic Ono Band, Spoon, Shearwater, The Thermals, and many more. Jay-Z is also coming to town, and the Allman Brothers have announced their annual week-plus of shows, although this year it’s at United Palace instead of the usual Beacon Theatre.

The Thermals To Do Karaoke Night
In the spirit of the Of Montreal karaoke night, which was one of my top shows of 2007, New York Magazine presents “Karaoke Relapse” at Studio B where The Thermals, who played another one of my top 2007 shows, will be the backing band for hipsters to sing in front of.
